Justin Harper
Height: 6'10''
Weight: 225
Position: Forward
Age: 21
College: University of Richmond
Bio: Justin is a local boy whose only scholarship offer came from UR. His father actually started four years at Niagara University and was inducted to the NU Hall of Fame recently. Justin didn't become a full time player until midway through last season and he hasn't looked back. He's considered a sleeper in this year's draft with his balanced tool set and solid frame.
Strengths: Does everything decently. He shoots reasonably well for a big man, but tends to fall in love with the jumper. When he gets to the stripe he knocks down the freebies. You can't really call his rebounding a strength or weakness. He'll rebound well from the small forward, but is probably too weak to play at power forward. Harper is athletic which leads to close to two offensive rebounds per game. A major plus his ability to avoid turnovers.
Weaknesses: He is the definition of a tweener. Too weak to play power forward and too slow to play the three. His strength is a problem. He won't get blocks or steals. This also affects his defense. It's mediocre, but could become better with camping. As mentioned before, he loves his jump shot and can become one dimensional without the right coaching. Other than that, he is quite well rounded.
Outlook: He could be a great 6th man. If he gets lucky, he could become a fringe starter. He's a quality big man, but the lack of blocking could get him overlooked.
