Kevin White
Height: 6'7
Weight 218
Position: SF
College: San Diego State University
Age: 19
Ratings: B B- C+ B- B B
College Career: White had a fantastic one and done season at San Diego State, he average 18ppg 5apg 8rpg for the season. He went a bit under the radar as a high school player, but his performance at SDSU has made him a high profile draft prospect. He was a 2nd Team All-American and National Freshman of the Year.
Pros: White is the type of player who can do everything pretty well. He is a solid offensive player who can score inside and out. He's a plus rebounder who gets most of his rebounds due to his athleticism. White is great athlete who looks to be gliding up and down the court. He can jump with the best of them and is etremely quick. White has the passing ability to play PG, but won't be able to play there in BBS.
Cons: The knock on White is that he is not strong. He can easily be pushed around. He also will probably have a few problems with TO's. Scouts have asked questions about his potential as well. He is already a solid player, but not sure if he has the superstar potential of some other players in this draft.
Overall: White could probably play three positions (SG/SF/PF) and is the type of all-around player that all teams need. He can shoot from three and finish around the hoop. His passing is very advanced for a player his age. He can defend OK, but is actually a pretty good shot-blocker. His rebounding is decent, and probably better than most players his age. I think White will be a top 10 pick, he has no holes in his game and even if he doesn't improve too much he will be a valuable player.
