Eric O' Connor
Height: 7'1
Weight: 265 lbs
Position: PF/C
College: BYU
Age: 22
Ratings: B- C- C- B+ C+ B
College career: O' Connor was a good college player, but never an All-American. He averaged a double-double for most of his college career. He was a good defender and was on the MWC All-Defensive team for three years. His four years in college have given him plenty off tournament experience and he has proved that he won't fold under pressure.
Pros: O' Connor is a decent shot-blocker, but his strength is really his man to man defense. He can defend PF's and C's very well. He's a strong player who can bang around in the paint with no problems. He's actually a pretty good FT shooer as well, better than most big men. He's a great offtensive rebounder as well.
Cons: O' Connor is not a huge potential guy, that will hurt his value. He doesn't really get too many defensive rebounds because of his interest in locking down his man. He's really not much of scorer, but this is more due to the fact that he does not shoot too much. Not sure if he'll ever develope more than 12-13 ppg game.
Overall: O' Connor will probably always be more of a sixth man, but he is an intriguing player because of his height. He's a bit of an old school banger, but he does have a decent shot out to fifteen feet. His defensive rebounding will always hold his rebounding numbers down, but his offensive rebounding ability might boost his points. Probably will go in the back end of the first round.
