Jay Johnson Age: 23 Point Guard 6'3" 195 lbs. Rutgers
Rookie Ratings: B- C+ A B+ D+ C
Overall: A 4 year starter at Rutgers. What you see is what you get. A great pass first point guard. Looks to pass first and second. Doesn't like to shoot. Was quoted as saying that if he has more points than assists he sees it as a bad game. Will never be a scorer.
Breakdown:
IN – Drives well but usually will look to dump the ball off or kick the ball out. Finishes well on the fast break. Most of his points are fast break layups or end of the game fts. He can shoot, he just doesn't.
OUT – Very good foul shooter. If you foul him at the end of the game don't expect him to miss. Average three point shooter at best.
HN – He dribbles well, is very quick and passes with the best of them. Not only is there a chance that he will lead the league in assists during his time in the league but he will probably lead the league in assists to tos ratio.
DEF – Not a great defender but very solid. Decent at getting steals but his strength is man to man D.
REB – Doesn't really try to get rebounds, on offense he is worried about getting back on d and on defense he waits for the outlet pass.
POT – None. Zero. Nada. What you see is what you get.
