Weight: 236
Position: SF
College: Colorado
Draft Ratings: B B C- C+ B B
Breakdown
Inside: Trobow is a pretty polished player overall, but here he has some growing room, he is quite strong, and a solid athlete, but he struggle some when posting up, he isnt hopeless inside, but he isnt a force either. His strength helps him create shots.
Outside: His range extends to three point land and he is solid from there, but really neither part of his outside game stands out, fairly average. He has solid form, he just doesnt make it with consistency. Pretty smart with his selection. Not a great FT shooter, but showed improvement late in his career. going from 60% to 78% between his junior and senior seasons. Its questionable as to whether that is an abberation, probably is somewhere in the middle.
Handles: Solid quicks, and handles, not going to be a turnover whore, but he does make his mistakes. His passing is sub par for sure.
Defense: Trobow's Defense isnt all that impressive. He doesnt really steal or block, and he struggles with opposing perimeter players. Honestly he might be a better PF than SF, and could probably get some time there, its just he seems to play better at SF overall. His quickness helps him keep players in front of him, and his strength is a big boost in the post.
Rebounding:
Trobow is a standout rebounder. He isnt a very good offensive rebounder at all, but he crashes the defensive glass with an impressive acumen. It wasnt uncommon for him to get 15 or 16 rebounds and only maybe 1 of those be offensive. He just doesnt show the same fire on the offensive glass as he does on the defensive glass. Will easily be a plus rebounder at SF, and even probably at PF.
Outlook: At 22 Trobow isnt going to grow too much it wouldnt seem. he is a solid player all around, and would be a nice 6th man at the wing, or maybe a rebounding weakness cover. His overall game is nice. Not going to be a franchise player though.
