College: UConn Position: SF Height: 6'7 Weight: 218 Ratings: c c+ c b- c b BIo: Burrell is a talented three sport star in high school and was in fact drafted by the Seattle Mariners coming out of high school. The Mariners suggested Burrell skip college and go straight to the minors but instead Burrell enrolled at UConn to play both basketball and baseball. At UConn he went on to star for both the baseball and the basketball teams. Strenghts-Burrell can do alot of things at a solid clip and is a very athletic player. One that many scouts feel hasn't even reached his full potential when it comes to basketball. A solid scorer and above average defender at the small forward spot. Could pack on some weight and be a tweener at PF or improve his quickness and help at the two spot. Weakness-Burrell's weakness is also his strenght. he does everything at a solid clip but nothing at a good level. Considered to be a very raw player who will need a GM and an Organization to take time on him. Outlook-Burrell is a player who should go late first round or early second and be considered a project. A team with multiple firsts could take a risk on him early after they fill needs and work him into a player. WIll be a solid role player and could become your 2nd man off the bench given time.
