The sharpshooting big man from Belfast, Tyrone Keane is a player that BBS has never seen the likes of before. With a skill set unparalleled by any other man that has ever stood in the BBS, Keane is a must have for any outside focused team and will get interest by who ever has the number 1 pick in the 2018 Draft.
Keane possesses beautiful touch from mid range to the perimeter. From day 1 at 19 years of age he could be the best shooting big man in BBS. That is how ridiculous he is. Last year against Latvia in U-18 ball Keane went an unprecedented 7-10 from behind the arc. Keane also is one of the premier defenders in Europe right now. His lateral quickness is unprecedented by any man of his stature. GM's will drool at his ability to be affective 3-4-5 combo forward. They'll hit the floor when they see this guy in the paint blocking shots. With an incredible wingspan, Keane is a very impressive shot blocker.
However Keane is fairly weak and shy's away from contact. Especially on the offensive side. While his great post defense play allows him to snag a lot of defensive rebounds he is almost a non factor on the offensive rebound side. Keane would rather shoot on the perimeter then play traditional post up banger big man basketball. His post game is a big ? for most scouts as most haven't seen him with the ball in the block. Not good at driving and penetrating to the hoop. While his passing skill and speed are ideal, he dribbles with his head down and gets lost in the motions.
If Keane can grow into a solid inside out player he will be a very special asset for BBS GM's down the line.
