Ratings: B- C+ C- B+ C B
Strengths: Nielsen is very big and extremely skilled. He draws comparisons to Yao Ming, but he won't be quite that good. At 7'3, Nielsen can shoot the ball extremely well. He shoots over 80% from the foul line and has range going out to about 20 feet. He can also score inside pretty well. As a defender, Nielsen is a deceptive shot blocker--think Andrew Bogut in the NBA. He should be able to block about 2-2.5 shots per game in BBS. He is also an above average post defender and will not turn the ball over.
Weaknesses: Nielsen is very slow and not athletic. Despite his size, Nielsen is also a terrible rebounder. It will be a problem for Nielsen on the defensive side to keep up with quicker bigs, and he isn't so strong that he will overpower smaller one's. Offensively, he could use a few more post moves.
Overall: Doesn't have the prettiest ratings, but his shot coupled with his size and defense should make him a nice starting big.
