Your stereotypical offensive/rebounding big man, Dez Ford Jr uses his big frame to knock opposing defenders down in the paint. Guy has great touch around the rim and GM's will be hard pressed to find players that match his strength in the league. His big build will also make him become one of the biggest rebounding threats in BBS. No one in the NCAA had the ability to stop him in the paint and that should translate over to BBS.
Unfortunately, Ford's stock might fall tremendously in the draft due to his lack of defense. Constantly in foul trouble, Ford Jr finds it hard to play great post defense. Although, Ford isn't the worst post defender in the world he could be one of the worst shot blocking big men in the league. Ford was taught to play "bang and bump" style of basketball and it failed to translate into his shot blocking abilities. Mid Range game is average and his handling ability is below average.
Outlook.
For those GM's who can properly utilize a player like Ford Jr in their system he could be the steal of the draft. However with so much weighed on shotblocking, defensive orientated big men Ford Jr could slip to the end of the lottery. His ability to score and board will not allow him to sink him lower than 10th and he has the potential to be a top 5 pick.
