 Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway B C+ C+ C C A Height: 6'7" Weight: 195 College: University of Memphis Position: G Pros: Penny is probably the best all around guard we've ever seen enter the league. His ball handling ability allows him to play PG and his size and scoring ability make him an excellent SG. At 6'7" he will be one of the better guards in the league at scoring around the basket. His tremendous size also allows him to see over smaller defenders and should be a huge asset to his already great passing ability. He should also be able to grab at least 5 rebounds a game. Cons: The only two knocks on Penny are his lackadaisical defense and suspect work effect. Talent wise he could be one of the greatest guards the league has ever seen, but I'm not sure he will ever live up to that potential. The prime example of this is his laziness on defense which is the only reason he is not the sure fire #1 pick. Overall: As mentioned earlier Penny is probably the best all around guard we've seen enter the league. He can score and pass as good as just about any rookie in the past 10 years. Once again, the only knock on Penny is that it is not known how much he actually wants to work to live up to his tremendous potential. Should be a top 2 or 3 pick. |
