Draft Ratings: C+ C+ B C+ B A
Age: 20
Height: 6’9”
Weight: 220
Position: SF/PF
College: North Carolina
Pros: Kuran is an amazingly well rounded player, especially for somebody his size. He is quick enough to cover most positions. He is a weapon on the fast break, as he handles the ball extremely well, with excellent court vision, and is quicker than most opposing big men, making him a nightmare for opponents. He can score inside well, and has a decent jumper. He is solid at playing the passing lanes and due to his length will get steals. Has the size and length to play in the post if necessary, and is an excellent offensive rebounder.
Cons:
While not an impressive 3 point shooter, Iverson does fall in love with it from time to time, and shows some poor shot selection. Not really a strong enough player to handle posts on a regular basis. Will not contribute any sort of shot blocking, despite his size and length. While quick, Iverson is not really an explosive athlete. Offensively he is quite raw, and will take some time to develop
Outlook: Scary…Iverson is so smooth in his game, scouts love it all around. He really doesn’t have a standout weakness, though he probably is best suited to play SF. Iverson is BBS great Allen Iverson’s nephew. While he wont be able to play PG like he did in for his AAU team, and even some at North Carolina. Don’t expect him to be an elite player right away, but in time Iverson should become a very well rounded player. Definitely an early lotto selection.
Best Case Scenario:
