Xavier Henry Guard/Forward 6'6" 220 Kansas Rookie RatingsXavier Henry B C+ D C+ C A StrengthsHenry has solid strength and athleticism and an all-around offensive polish. He's a very good finisher with a tough shot to block; can attack the rim ambidextrously. Highly coordinated. Has a good jumper and range out to the pro 3pt line. Great length (6'11.25") and does a good job creating turnovers. He's also a solid rebounder, especially on the defensive glass. WeaknessesSolid, but not great strength and athleticism; lacks explosiveness. Henry doesn't have much luck creating his own shot. Right now he's pretty much a one dimensional player. A below average passer who is turnover prone--not a good combination. At very best, he will never be anything more than average in that regard. He's got the length and hustle to be a good positional defender, but that part of his game is quite under-developed as of right now. OutlookDoesn't have the size you look for in a pro SF and his lack of ball skills will make him a real liability as a SG, but he understands his limitations. Henry has the potential to get buckets as a pro. If he can improve as a range shooter, he may end up being at least a nice third option type in an uptempo offense. A slasher who can catch and shoot is a nice weapon to have. Defensively speaking, he's definitely raw, but has the length and desire to get a lot better.
