Ike Austin C 21 6-10 255 Arizona State Rookie Ratings:Ike Austin B+ C-C- C C+ C Strengths:Very good post player, Austin should be able to contribute immediately as a rookie. Can score 17+ a game due to his strength and dominance in the post. He's just really tough to defend, he outmuscles people and has a knack for finding the basket within eight feet. Solid rebounder as well, also due in part to his strength. Weaknesses:Poor defender. He'll probably allow just as many points as he scores, if not more. The guy just appears lazy on defense, and doesn't seem to want to improve. Tends to rely too much on his strength when rebounding and often loses easy rebounds to opponents. Mediocre free throw shooter. Overview:A mid-to-late 1st rounder whose ideal role will be that of a backup who provides a scoring punch off the bench.
