Age-21
Position: PF/C
Height: 6'10
Weight: 244
College: Russia
Draft Ratings: C+ C D C+ A- C
Overview:
Inside: Vasileev is a solid athlete, but not overly strong, nor is he very good in the post. His offense is mainly predicated on putbacks.
Outside: Vasileev has a nice jump shot, and can step out and shoot the three....sometimes. His shot selection isnt great though, so he tends to shoot too many threes considering his poor ability from that range.
Handles: Vasileev has no real turnover problems, nor does he have issues with a massive lack of quickness or anything like that, he is solid except he just isnt a great passer, not a big deal though.
Defense: Chuzo is a shotblocker, thats it, he does not play defense well at all otherwise, but his wingspan offers the ability to block pretty much anything even remotely near him. He will struggle with all forms of D outside of that.
Rebounding: Vasileev just has a natural ability to read the ball out of the shooters hands and grab the rebound. He tends to be in the right place on the offensive and defensive glass to get the ball, even on shots that he has no business grabbing. His wingspan is massive help here as well.
Outlook: Reminds many of a Leon Smith type player, only without the offense. He'll block the shit out of everybody, but he really has no interest in playing D otherwise...he roams the paint too much looking for the block. His potential isnt all that great, he will probably be no more than a great sixth man type.
Best Case Scenario:
C+ C+ D+ B A
More Likely:
C+ C D B- A
