Pro's: Maalik Wayns is a point guard that has the potential to be an excellent starter in the BBS. He is extremely quick with the ball and can get into the paint at will. Just incredibly quick. He can breakdown the defense and find teammates but is more adept when he just tries to score himself. Excellent finisher. Wayns is also an above average defender who has the potential to develop into a defensive stopper on the next level.
Con's: Wayns, despite his inside game, only has a mediocre jumpshot and has not yet developed consistent three point range. His more glaring problem, however, is his turnover propensity. Even though he is extremely quick, Wayns is neither a great passer or great ball handler. Also a terrible rebounding guard.
Overall: Probable top 5 pick, but has some boom/bust potential.
