Jared Sullinger Forward 6'8" 262 Ohio State Rookie RatingsB+ D D C C+ A StrengthsA bruising, throwback type post player. Comfortable finishing around the rim with either hand and has an excellent array of post moves for someone of his age. Sullinger has great footwork, soft hands and is an absolute beast down low. He will probably end up being a pretty good rebounder, as he has the strength to box almost anyone out and also understands positioning. WeaknessesHe's sort of a fat ass and he can't shoot worth a shit. Sullinger has iffy athleticism at best for his size and position; doesn't run the floor very well at all. He doesn't play well without the ball in his hands, and unless he's in the low post, doesn't play well with the ball in his hands either. Put up decent steal/block numbers in HS, but is a terrible positional defender who possesses very poor lateral quickness. OutlookThere is some debate as to whether Sullinger might wait another year to declare. Aside from his inside game, he is very raw. Either way, he should probably be able to step right in and contribute as a rookie. Potential GMs should be aware that Sullinger will probably always have too many holes in his game to be a franchise type player, but if you're looking for someone to come in and eat up the post off of the bench, he's a pretty safe bet. And who knows? Zach Randolph with less range?
