Continuing our discussion from the old NBN board... Mike Cook is leading the BBL in scoring - his team, and mine, the Sharks are top of the BBL, through to the Cup Final and, according to all the haters on the other teams, is the most protected player in the League! I will admit he's getting away with a left arm push-off before he inevitably pulls up and sinks a mid-range J, but the crap about being protected is just bollox. He attacks the rim and gets hammered on a regular basis, making him so much fun to watch. He's averaging 27pts, but he's got a great supporting cast that help spread the floor for him, Ryan Patton is the league's best 3pt shooter and Tafari Toney is a 6'10 monster under the basket that leads the league in boards. Life's pretty easy for him right now - and now he's proved he's injury-free, I have no doubt a big name Euro team will come knocking in the summer. Oh, and who is the 2nd best player in the League right now? Cook's old Hoyas-foe Jessie Sapp - Cook and the Sharks obliterated Sapp's Glasgow Rocks 84-67 last night in Glasgow - Championship here we come!

That's awesome. I'm glad to hear he's healthy and playing well. 27 PPG is really impressive in any professional league. He had that ability to score, and that injury was gruesome, so I'm glad to see he's making a strong sruge forward.
