Ill be the first to admit, Darron Thomas isnt anything Special, hes good, but he isnt very athletic and tends to get a bit erratic

You brought up something irrelevant to try to make a point...I did the same.

Lold at Oregon QBs, Harvard has better QBs. better troll, or not, but um, you talk of ripping off 7 more straight and dominating the Big 10 with Meyer, but, Michigan beat Meyer with the Tebow despite the fact that that same Michigan team got blasted by Oregon, and lost to Appalachian State at home, you tried to say Miller is>>>>>>>> Tebow, but Miller most certainly isnt, and never will be, and

Meyers inability to beat a mediocre Michigan team despite all that talent (and Florida>>>Ohio State in terms of recruiting fyi) is quite disturbing, as is the fact that well, he kinda ditched his last team when things fell to shit, so whats gonna happen when Ohio State struggles with the sanctions, which most assuredly the biggest hit is going to be scholarship reductions, USC is still winning despite the bowl ban, but they have yet to deal with the effect of scholarship reductions they will be receiving starting with the next recruiting class. Do you have no doubt Meyer will not get the hell out of dodge if things dont go well in the first two years?

One question:
Why are you trying to convince yourself Meyer won't rape everybody for years?

Urban won't come close to having another dominant team like he did in the Tebow years

Do you have no doubt Meyer will not get the hell out of dodge if things dont go well in the first two years? Meyer didn't seem to have any trouble against another Big 10 team (Ohio St.) on his way to Florida's first BCS championship under his leadership. But you can't seriously say that one game, a terrible sample size, is a red flag towards his inability to beat Michigan Obviously Meyer knows what he's getting himself into, so I really doubt we'll see him jump ship early I don't think his intentions in leaving Florida were suspicious... he was initially ready to leave Florida right after he'd led the to another BCS game

The plan was for Meyer to take a few years off then take over for Tressel when he retired in a couple years...the process was just sped up.

I don't like tOSU by any means but bringing Urban on board is a pretty big coup

I have always though Meyer left Florida because he knew the program had peaked and there were some very rough years ahead

Also, the Big Ten's higher academic standards will prevent Meyer from acquiring some of the talent he could in the SEC.
