YOU LOST AT FUCKING HOME...it has nothing to do with you earning another shot, which you didnt, but regardless. What, has LSU not earned the right to not have to beat you twice? you are punishing LSU for winning a road game in conference, meanwhile Bama can not be the best team in the conference, and yet still be the best team in the nation. It pretty much makes the regular season meaningless... OKLAHOMA STATE LOST TO IOWA STATE, YES IOWA STATE IOWA FUCKING STATE. how has oklahoma state earned a shot exactly lol? lsu beat us but it isnt like it was convincing. beat us by 3 points in OT adn we missed 4 fgs.. i agree there should be a playoff, but oklahoma state has done nothing to earn a shot over alabama. Oklahoma State lost on the road, and you still lost at home, NONE of those 4 field goals was a gimme, and a team truly deserving of a shot at the national title should be able to come up with a touchdown at home, instead of four long field goals. And Ok State lost on the road on a day in which they learned that for the second time in 10 years members of the Ok State athletic community died in a plane crash.

They have not beaten Oklahoma State Virginia tech Stanford (which shouldnt get in regardless) etc. Theyve clearly proven they are better than Alabama on the field, so they should get a chance to actually play the conference title game. Bama missed out on the two best SEC East teams, the rest of the SEC outside LSU was mediocre, and yet, they EARNED a shot at the title for a second time? really?

If the Cowboys win, they’ll have beaten six teams that finished the regular season with winning records and will have played nine bowl bound teams.
The Tide beat just three FBS teams that finished with a winning record – Penn State, Arkansas, and Auburn – and came up with wins over just five bowl bound teams. And no, it wasn’t a case of parity in the SEC this season. Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Mississippi State were awful, and the Tide didn’t play the two best teams from the East, Georgia and South Carolina.

the only truly fair system for an NCAA championship would have to cut 40 teams from FBS, four 20 team conferences, each conference having two divisions with no tie in games (you could have 8 conferences of 10, then have automatic pairings for a champion instead if preferable, but the goal would be to prevent cross "division" pairings in the out of conference schedule. Each team in a division plays every other team in their division 1 time, with three OOC games. At the end of the season, on championship week, the conferences stage a championship game at a neutral site. Lets say the four conferences by current name are the Pac 12, Big 12, Big 10, SEC.
On Friday night of Championship week, the most appealing (TV drafts the teams) of the Pac 12, Big 12, Big 10 championship games begins at 8:00 EST. Then, On Saturday at 11:30 EST the least appealing remaining game (non Pac 12 if applicable), followed at 3:00 by the second least appealing, then at 6 by the most appealing remaining game. These games would act as the quarterfinals, without affecting the overall length of time of the season.
this would take place the first weekend in December. Two weeks later, you would have the semi final matchups, one Friday, one Saturday. then, again, two weeks later you would have the championship games. The non title teams would still be allowed to play in a bowl game.

If oklahoma state beats oklahoma they should jump Alabama. No...regardless of what happens in that game everyone knows the best two teams are alabama and lsu. I wish you were right though...cant stand bama and feel that they would win in the champ game vs lsu.

A field goal lose in OT vs the #1 team or a lose vs a unranked shitty team.......alabama is much better than Ok st and you know that. Not many people want to see LSU vs Bama rematch because it will be a boring defensive and running game but we all know they are the best two teams.

Not many people want to see LSU vs Bama rematch because it will be a boring defensive and running game but we all know they are the best two teams. except Oklahoma State has a better resume, yes, Bama already lost to LSU, and Ok State lost a game on the road in Double OT. Bama beat 3 teams with winning records, thats a great resume to back up the so called number two team in the country. They havent faced an offense with a pulse all year outside the Arkansas game (who is massively overrated). Give LSU Oklahoma State, give Bama somebody else, Bama had its shot, and lost, at home....why should it get what amounts to a bonus for losing in the regular season at home

seems like LSU has earned the right to face somebody else more than bama earned another shot...had Bama lost like that and then gone out and beat #2 and #5 or something, with a win on the road sure...but they dropped to number four, beat up on mediocre teams and waited for teams to fall

OK ST hasnt beat anyone substantial and barely beat the only three ranked teams they have played. Even if they beat Oklahoma say 45-21 (which wont happen) the BCS voters will put Alabama ahead of them and they should.
I'm saying this as a Gator fan and the team I hate the most is Alabama...even more than FSU. I hope somehow Alabama doesn't get in but they are a top 2 team and imo outplayed LSU most of the game.

Oklahoma State will have played and beaten 5 top 25 ranked BCS teams, Bama has played 3 and beaten 2

had Bama played and beaten Georgia and South Carolina sure maybe they would have earned it, but they didnt, and they couldnt win their own division.
