Pro's: Hailing from Italy, Andrea Bargnani is one of the best European prospects BBS scouts have seen in a long time. Drawing comparisons to Dirk Nowitzki, Bargnani is a big man who can shoot the lights out of the gym. He has great size at 7'0 and has range that extends well beyond the three point line. While its still developing, the Italian also has a decent variety of post moves. He's also an adequate ball handler for a big man.
Con's: Despite his offensive prowess, Bargs still has a lot to work on. He is an atrocious rebounder for a big man and is not a great defender either. He's also a tweener; even though he is 7'0, he doesn't have a prototypical big man game and he is not quick enough to guard smaller defenders. He'll have to work on his rebounding and defense to reach the next level in the BBS.
Overall: Should be a mid lottery pick. Could be a nice offensive 6th man or a top option depending on how he develops.
