Chris Bosh
6'10
228 lbs
Power Forward
B C C B C+ A
Pros: Bosh is one of the premier forwards in college, and unlike a lot of college stars, his game will translate well to the pros. Where to start, first of all, his athleticism is elite, with amazing quickness for someone of his size. He loves to face up and when he does, one of two things happen, the defender gets a jumper splashed on him if he's not playing tight, or gets blown by and a teammate is dunked on because the initial defender played too close to Bosh. Great free throw shooter so don't even think about sending him to the foul line at the end of games. His post defense is pretty good as well, though his shot blocking will leave a lot to be desired.
Cons: One of the only knocks on Bosh is that he is too skinny. He needs to add some muscle to his wiry frame without taking too much away from his speed advantage over other forwards. Another thing that he was never taught at Georgia Tech was how to pass out of double teams, so look for there to be growing pains in regards to a low assist rate as Bosh adjusts to a higher level. Bosh also lacks rebounding instinct, which will hinder him from being a truly elite post player if he does not improve.
Overall: You're getting a franchise level player if you take Chris Bosh. He has the athleticism and skillset to take over a shitty team right away, and is coachable to the point that there is really no doubt how his career will turn out.
