I've actually heard it's great. I'm also psyched about Dunkin Donuts. They have them in fucking Taiwan but not Ohio, ridiculous! Ya, I stay away from fast food in general, but KFC is my weakness... may have it once a month or so lol, but as much as I like it int he UK, nothing beats it in the Far East. I think I've only ever had it in Malaysia and Hong Kong, and both places it was so much better than in UK. If you like stuff spicy, then they don't disappoint! "Hot wings" here are not spicy at all, but over there... they are the real deal! So yeah, if it's the same in Taiwan, then indulge!! After that, get your ass back to the local cuisine. Fuck McDonalds lol,. We just went there because the person I was with didn't know any other local places. Some of the local feed creeps me out. I'll eat normal food, but duck neck, fried tofu, or any other type of weird shit is not going to cut it. |

It's not that weird crappy shit that's used in the West simply as a meat substitute. Cooked Chinese style it's really nice imo. Hell, I've bought western tofu and nearly puked when I ate it, but fresh Chinese style one is really nice. Give it a go! As for the duck neck... yeah go for something else lol. Just find yourself a good noodle bar joint and you get real good, tasty, relatively healthy, cheap food. Having said that, I've never been to Taiwan lol so I could be completely wrong... maybe all you get on offer is chicken feet and dogs lol. |

I've never had just fried tofu on it's own though, it's not meant to be something you just eat like that.... it's always part of a dish that you have with your rice. But yeah, try it.
