LOL @ your minimal soccer knowledge. Brazil's group is easily the toughest one Korea sucks. They had the worst record for Asia's automatic qualifiers. 7 goals in 8 games? ZOMG!! SO GOOD! They'll definitely beat brazil, dumbfuck. Portugal is good, but Europe is loaded, and they aren't even a top 5 team from Europe.. Not a very strong Portugal team. Not to mention they had to rely on a playoff to make it thanks to letting Denmark win their group, sad... CDI might be good, but they play such easy competition so I hold their qualifying games with little weight. Let's get real, they tied against Madagascar, Botswana, and Mozambique? 3 shitty teams. Brazil will run circles around all of them. Quote me on this, and come back to me in June, and Brazil will be 3-0 with blowout wins.. Only team that will keep it respectable will be Portugal. Mate, no. North Korea are out. Ivory Coast, Portugal and Brazil ALL have a damn good chance of going through. Ivory Coast are, in terms of physical strength, a REALLY strong team. The likes of Drogba will bully any defender in the world. They are the best African team and it really wouldn't surprise me if they went all the way to the semi finals or even further. Brazil are likely to be able to handle them, but Portugal, I'm not so sure about. They are a great team with real quality, and have the 2nd best player in the world in Ronaldo. This group is the group of death for sure. Anyone who thinks otherwise knows nothing about football.

What I don't like about Portugal and has always been the problem with them for many years is that they have no pure striker. Guys like Ronaldo deco nani quaresma etc are all the same type of player they have to many of the same players with the same skill sets. there midfield is stacked and IMO top 3 in the world but they can't score goals because they don't have a legit striker

I understand your points but anyone who tries to argue the fact that Brazils group is not the hardest is extremely mistake they are the only group who has 3 teams in the top ten rankings. As for Algeria being the best African team do you know something we don't? It took a playoff vs. Egypt who won the African cup of nations to make it to the world cup and I think Algeria made it out of pure heart and political motivation. African national teams hve always been poor defending teams but over the years they have impoved and are now among the most dangerous nations. To say ivory coast had easy competition is insane. Any team that has a game changer like drogba is always dangerous. Cameroon has etoo. Ghana has the essiens and Nigeria has the obafemi martins and kalou. Algeria has no one of that caliber. Only south Africa is worse than Algeria. If the USA plays like they did at the confederations cup they will advance what hurts is they will be without Charlie davies who I think is USAs game changer I think he wad going to eventually be a star in Europe Fair enough, I really don't know much about African soccer, but what I've noticed is every 4-8 years we see a new African team kinda step it up. Algeria kinda seems like that kind of team to me this year. They were playing good football in the qualifying rounds. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just feel like USA will have a tough time getting by..

I love Ronaldo, he is my favorite non american football player in the entire world. I'm just not a fan in Portugal. Again, maybe you do know more. I don't watch that much soccer other than USA national games and any other big national teams playing on TV. But Brazil will go 3-0 and only Portugal will keep it close.

Yeah you're wrong. No offense or anything, but you're wrong. Algeria are shit and will do nothing. I don't expect them to go out of their group. They're awful. Ivory Coast are a good team with strong individuals.

Always thought that way. They had Nuno Gomes but I wasn't a fan of his to be honest. Didn't rate him. Imo they should play Ronaldo as a proper striker up front, but then they still need another finisher. This is why I think Ivory Coast will cause a lot of trouble for them.

CDI got fucked over... especially considering they had to play Argentina and the Dutch in group stages in '06. Shame
