 Rick Fox 21 years old SG/SF 6'7" 220lbs North Carolina Ratings: C+ C+ C- B C B Strengths- Fox is coming off a strong year at UNC. His defense is already NBA fit. Not only is he a good positional defender, but Fox loves to play the passing lanes and gather those steals. Thanks to a pretty large frame compared to a lot of other guard-forwards, look for Rick to gather some rebounds and play some tough basketball. Weaknesses- There are no glaring weaknesses in Fox's game. However, If there's anything to nitpick on, I believe scouts would love to see Fox develop his outside game to become a legitimate threat on both sides of the ball. Despite averaging 17ppg in his final season at UNC, Fox seems a little tentative on offense and still needs to evolve that part of his game. Outlook-Your typical SG/SF with a good all around game. His defense could be a big boost for some teams (hell I could use him right now). While I don't think Fox will ever be a star, except maybe on the TV screen, his defense and rough style of play will keep him in this league for a long time. He is a great utility player and will likely mold into a 6th man or a defensive starter. I see him going anywhere from late teens to mid 20s. |
