Pro's: Ron Artest loves to defend. Whether it be in the post or on the perimeter, there is no doubting Artest's commitment to defense. He'll be an all-defensive like presence just a few years into the league and will always guard the opponent's best player. While Artest is mainly known for his defense, he also has a pretty solid offensive game. He can post up and hit the occasional three pointer. Considering his age, Artest's abilitity to rebound and handle are pretty strong as well.
Con's: Artest has a questionable attitude, as some wonder whether he can fit into the team concept. Given his average offensive ability, Artest shoots way too much and gets into way too many tussles with the officials. His rebounding and handling abilities, while not weaknesses, are only average right now. Offense still needs work.
Overall: Top 5-7 pick that could be a defensive stopper if given the opportunity. His offense has the potential to develop.
