Theyve always questioned Timmy because of his frame. Hes still a very good pitcher, but he doesnt seem to have elite status anymore. Giants might eventually regret trading Wheeler for Beltran.

meh. that mets start looked good as far as earned runs, but it seems like there were guys on bases every inning.

well, the signs were his 2nd half performance and the deterioration of his stuff late in the season. People just discarded as if it was just some inning overload and then discarded it again in spring training when he showed up a littler overweight.

yeah but the Mariners dealt him prior to Spring, the second half performance is a pretty easy dismissal obviously, but for him to suffer a torn labrum and have to undergo surgery that costs him a full year? thats shockingly bad on the Yankees end
