good ole' nova getting handed a really good player who he's going to be a 40 win mediocre team with and then hit his cy Cause I always get really good players handed to me. Oh wait... Pretty sure I've had the top pick twice in BBS, once was the worst draft ever(Dunagan draft). Other time I got Yao, so that was "luck" if you wanna call it that. And I don't think I've ever stolen a marquee FA. Maybe once. But I really don't remember ever doing so. And I've had quite a few leave me. And yeah, I was far from being one of the better GM's in the last BBS, but you're speaking as if you were better. I made the playoffs 14 of the last 18 seasons in the last version and would have made it 15 of 19 had we finished the last season, and won 46 + in 12 of those seasons. I didn't get past the Conference Finals in the playoffs, and I never claim to be a top GM, but I'll put my body of work up against yours any day. |
