Go ahead and "Broph/Skillz" Clinton Wheeler.
I'm gonna go out on a limb...Wheeler is a 2nd round steal...I randomly took him with a free 2nd lol... he had the best ratings left on the board so I took him in hopes he becomes a steal...which he looks like right now... he has 85 quickness, steals, handling, AND inside... how rare can you find a rookie with B- inside that has 85 to start? ESPECIALLY for a PG his age? very rare... he'll probably become my future starting PG once walt retires... i brophillz crash mengelt, now it's wheelers turn!
What's the future looking like in GS?
It looks good after all my old guys expire...I plan to rebuild/tank in 2054 when hopefully the dream, sir charles, all those greats declare... I'll say this right now...you won't see the same team in 2-3 years... I feel like I have a two year window with these old dudes... I'm trying to improve this current team while pistol and walt are on life support...dickey is old too but he hasn't been in the league for 10 years yet...I hope to sign and trade him after he expires...parish will also be available.
Will MJ win any titles in ATL?
YES... the hawks have a sick 1-2-3... they added goo but I think he can upgrade their frontcourt by adding picks with some of his other players... the hawks would be a contender for a long time if they had a stud center... i think jay will tank this season and next in hopes to add 1 or 2 more lottos then package them for upgrades...i see them winning a title 2-3 years from now, depending on their deals.
Do any of the current expiring rookie deals leaave (Bird, Magic, Cheeks, etc) leave?
I think all we stay with their current teams...i can't recall the last time a stud FA signed with a new team (correct me if i'm wrong)... if they do opt out and join new teams, then it will be good for the league...especially if they sign in the east.
Out of all the rebuilding/tanking teams, pick one you believe can be a future champion and why.
I talked about the hawks a few minutes ago and i'm gonna stick with them... they have michael jordan...jay just needs to surround him with complimentary players, which he has in moncreif and moore... but he needs a front court to become legitimate for many years to come...as for other teams... maybe philly if they get lucky in the next 1-2 drafts... memphis are done tanking but i see them getting better in the long run... but out of all those teams, i'm going with atlanta.
On the other side of things, which team is in need of a serious rebuild. Which team is in the most fucked up position?
lol...the hornets... kobe should get a bbs restraining order from returning ever again... he fucked up their franchise...they were legit when aar owned them...but since then, the hornets fell apart when kobe took over.. he traded future picks to fuck up any other potential gms... hell, the team has no GM atm lol... guys are scared to run them... although play said he would "potentially" take them next year... but i really don't see it lol... whoever does permanently take over will have a tough challenge bringing them back to life... without picks, they will have to go the haberman approach by shedding contracts for cap space, get lucky to sign a stud, then go from there...right now spencer brought in denton to atleast ease the pain for the team.. hopefully denton could turn into assets though.
What do you think of Martinez/Broph quitting? Were there any hidden reasons besides "boredom"?
I really felt boredom and other interests aside from BBS caused them to quit... marty i'm not shocked about since i think he will eventually come back lol...as for broph, i am shocked considering he seemed like the type that had BBS in his blood...i thought this league was his life on the internet...he didn't just quit, he retired... but like marty, i think broph will come back in the future...he was probably the most loyal and committed gm...i don't see him really retiring...he's gonna pull a brett farve... it's only a matter of time..as for marty, i think he just needs a little break, wait for a legitimate team to open, then bam! welcome back marty.
Should Greg have been given the Mavs back?
Sure... the mavs are his favorite team... it's the right move after being out of the league for a season... hf took the heat, i took the warriors, mostly everyone has the favorite team in this league...now greg needs to fix what he started...and i think he should trade moses for his picks back so he can rebuild correctly... if not, then surround moses with talent but this time stick to winning... however the denton trade confused me but maybe greg has other moves under his sleeve...if he's gonna stand pat with moses and no one else around him, then that's not good... moses is being wasted and should win a title by now.
Should we limit how far in the future picks can be traded?
Yes...it's ridiculous... kobe was a huge example...he fucked up any potential gm's that could take over the hornets...but not having any of their picks for 10 seasons are scaring people away... heatflash did same thing...trading picks far in the future, only to miss the playoffs with mediocre teams...EVEN tank one season for another team... it's sad and laughable at the same time...but atleast hf traded for his picks back... hopefully he'll learn from his mistakes.
Who wins the title this season?
Boston Celtics...their players got better...even gilmore is having a career year, especially defensively...he will be a huge factor come playoff time...magic dr j and rudy tom will continue to do their thing...barring any injuries.
Who is this AC going to and where?
Probably Clinton Wheeler! haven't thought about where though.
'How are the Warriors (NBA) doing? How far are they going this year?
We signed carl landry today and expected to resign rush very soon too... love our offseason moves...we have the best looking team on paper in years...our 2nd unit is solid... barring injuries to bogut and/or curry, we are gonna make the playoffs... i see us going between the 6th-8th seed... people continue to make fun of us and bring us down but we are going to surprise a lot of people this year.
