would everyone have to buy DDS to participate or neh? not sure... but the fact that FBB is incredibly archaic and a simple posting of a DC on a messageboard is all it really takes I'd say the only way to really play in the league using to DDS is to own the game, when I tried running the footblal league it was the same problem.... there is such a shitload of options it's impossible to be in the league and not own the game... that's also the complaint about some people here that the games are "to complicated"

My issue is any game that requires everyone to own it can be hard to find GMs for (not that this isn't already an issue with FBB). The best sim leagues I've been in have been OOTP leagues, and that's because the game allows things to be as in depth as the GMs want it to be. Doubt DDS is quite on that level though.

FBB is still a fun interesting game. Its still quite difficult to win regularly for most GMs, and the GM quality here is good enough to keep almost everyone on their toes.
There have been some superstars drafted high recently but Bingo has been the best player in the history of the league thus far and he was completely unexpected. I really doubt Bird/Magic or Jordan will "ruin" the league.
I can release the draft class later if thats a problem, I just havent gotten any complaints on it.

ruins the fun of the season if you release it too early and contending teams switch to tank mode even if they're good enough to make a run just cause of the draft class.

K. Only reason I do it early is to have time to do notes. Ill try and release it later.

The draftees being released early is a legit complaint
If I didn't know Jordan was in that draft, there's no way I would've tanked as hard as I did

GMs are going to tank whether or not you release the draft class early. What "contending" teams are switch to tank mode in the middle of a season? That takes effort. You can't just tell your team to lose.
Why encourage a league where there is less transparency? The draft shouldn't be a surprise.

I disagree with fun and interesting. The league is fun and the game is easily exploitable and random. The GMs are what make it fun really. I'd buy a game if it allowed me to be more involved with what I can control with my team. I don't care if the FBB audience ever migrated over, just that this game had some kind of community that had potential to grow.
