1. Why do you call yourself "Play"? You've been using that name for many years now, but where did it originated from?
The name Play came from my AIM name Play34basketball. The 34 was for Paul Pierce who is one of my favorite players.
2. What is your plan for this season and in the future?
My plan this season was to rebuild and get MJ before Spencer fucked me over. Now I just want to retool for the next 2 seasons and grab a few assets that can help me improve my team. I love my core of Jawann Oldham, Mike Gminski, Larry Drew, Darrell Griffith, and possibly Marques Johnson. I hope we can add a big name to this group and contend in the next few seasons.
3. Your last championship came in 2033 and your last finals appearance in 2034...it's been over 15 years since then....when can we expect you to contend for a title again?
I honestly don't know. I'm just not that good at retro. I never was a fan of retro..It's completely different than present day/future BBS. Too many good big man FT shooters. Majority of the big men who have a solid inside rating and good midrange are getting moved to SF, which is very unrealistic. It seems like an FBB flaw to me. Those guys are shitty scorers at PF and C but once they get moved to SF things really change. Kevin Mchale will end up playing SF when Insane is ready to compete. There is no way the real life Kevin Mchale would play small forward. I also hate the whole moving good rebounders to SG. There are a few fucking nerds here that try to exploit BBS..Not going to say any names but yeah that shit is getting old...If you know something just keep it to yourself..No need to let the whole league know. But getting back to me contending, I'm going to give it one more shot and probably be done with BBS after that.
4. There's been talk that you have fallen off... how do you respond to those critics?
I have fallen off...It's been 15 seasons since I made a BBS finals..I could blame my interest in retro but im not...I'm just a garbage GM now.
5. Are you still the best GM in BBS? Why or why not?
My body of work speaks for itself. I haven't won shit in 15 seasons but nobody is close to my accomplishments...I still lead the league in every major statistical category.
6. Top 5 teams? Top 5 sleepers?
In no order
1. Orlando Magic - I doubt the Magic can win it all without a Superstar
2. Boston Celtics - DBW bounced back with a nice trade for Rudy T. I like his Chances
3. Portland Trailblazers - solid core all around
4. Los Angeles Lakers - I like what Styro did this offseason. His team should really compete come playoff time
5. Denver Nuggets - good team
Sleepers
1. Indiana Pacers - If Biggie can add a solid big man up front...He will have a top 5 team in the league
2. Phoenix Suns - Outlawz would probably be in the top 5 if he didn't get raped for Foots Walker last season.
3. Detroit Pistons - the Pistons haven't been healthy for most of the season...All of their players should be back next sim...I expect them to rise very high in the standings.
4. Los Angeles Clippers - Hype is a good GM but his trading methods are holding his team back.
5. Cleveland Cavs - Spencer did a great job fixing Marty's roster for him.

7. Most overated GM? Most underated GM?
Greeme is starting to become very overrated by a few GM's around here. Greeme is still garbage and doesn't know how to use his assets to his advantage. That title he won was a fucking fluke...Greeme will never win another title in BBS.
Despite his playoff failures Styro has been pretty good for a while now. I think he will put it all together soon and start to seriously contend for titles in BBS.
8. How did you feel about kobe's situation in New Orleans? He once had a solid team with cowens, mccarter, issel but since then his team fallen off big time and forced him to quit... where at his point of his career started his mess?
No clue! Kobe just tried to do too much IMO. He made some very bad moves that didn't pay off...He never really had a legit superstar just a few good players. Kobe fell off and I don't think he should be invited back.
9. Purnell Jackson used to rule BBS for many seasons... then Bingo took over for awhile and now probably magic johnson for the next decade... is Purnell still the best player in BBS history despite other guys taking the spotlight? Besides Bingo or Magic, do you see any upcoming stars ruling BBS anytime soon as well?
Bingo Smith is the best player in BBS history, followed by Purnell Jackson. Both of these guys accomplished so much in BBS but Purnell never had the stat defense that Bingo had so thats where they differ. When it's all said and done I could see Eric Money going down as one of the greats as well.
10. How do you feel about MJ declaring for next years draft? Did you expect him to declare this early? What do you think about his starting ratings at small forward?
I loved that MJ declared early it threw a few GM's game plan off that tried to stockpile picks for MJ. I kinda expected it thats why i tried to deal off everyone as fast as possible. I love his ratings at SF, his passing rating leaves a lot to be desire but I understand why Spencer did it that way.

12. Lets switch gears and talk NBA... how do you feel about the Bulls situation heading into next season? Do you think Rose will come back 100%? What moves do you expect and/or hope to happen during this off season?
I really hate what Chicago has done this offseason. It seems to me that Jerry Reinsdorft is just writing this season off and he doesn't want to pay the luxury tax. I wasn't a big fan of the Marquis Teague selection at all. Rose will come back 110% and be better then ever. Hopefully this team is fucking garbage and we can tank.
13. Harrison Barnes best player from the draft? Rookie of the year?
If Jeremy Lamb starts he will be the Rookie Of the year...Besides that I think Harrison Barnes will win ROY and help the Warriors make the playoffs.

I'm a quiet and peaceful person. My board persona doesn't fit my real life persona at all. I love to read and just relax at home most of the time.
