I was so sure Lawz was going to pick Bernard so this pick definitely came as a surprise to me. Sikma had a net of 0 because of his decrease in handle but that probably isn't a huge deal. The jump to B- inside is very nice. Sikma is obviously a work in progress that will need RCs, ACs and a little bit of luck to shed the stigma of outside bigs in FBB.

2. Boston Celtics - Bernard King SF 6'7'' 205 20 A- C D+ C C A

Not a super eventful training camp, but truth be told I'm just happy something happened. Going from the dreaded C rating to C+ in both defense and rebounding gives me hope that King will continue to develop in those categories. Of course I wish I got one of those C+s in outside shooting instead but I can't be greedy.

3. Houston Rockets - Marques Johnson SF 6'7'' 218 21 B+ C+ C B- C A

+2 outside and +1 defense is nothing to snear at. The drop in scouted sucks but I would think Jordan is content with this training camp. I personally didn't have Johnson 3rd on my list but that being said he looks better than the couple of guys I had ahead of him other than Birdsong.

4. Indiana Pacers - Michael Cooper SG 6'5'' 170 21 C+ C+ C+ B C+ A

Major +5 TC here. Excellent pick by Biggie/nice call by Pole to trade for him. I still don't think Coop is going to develop into one of the best players in the league or anything but this start is undeniable.

Obvious Ced had a disappointing training camp. The notes pretty much guarantee Ced will be staying in the league for a long time with his post scoring and steal/block capabilities so this pick was fine.. I just didn't have him 5. Would like to see if there is any improvement in defense rating at the 4 since Spence said his post defense is good.

6. Dallas Mavericks - Walter Davis SG 6'6'' 193 23 B B C+ C+ D+ A

Decent training camp by Walter but if I were to pick a wing at this pick it would have been Birdsong rather easily. Walter potentially having handling issues is a big deal and the fact that went -1 on his already shitty rebounding rating is a bit alarming.

Norm had a very nice +3 TC. I was very undecided on where to put him on my list. Will be interesting to see how Norm develops over the years.

Forget what Spencer says. Bingo Smith stopper is here. According to notes, Tyler is a great post defender, extremely quick and strong and also gets steals AND blocks. This guy has to be able to at least slow down Bingo, no? Nice +2 training camp by Tyler.

9. New York Knicks - Otis Birdsong SG 6'3'' 190 21 B+ B C C D+ A

Nice pick by Skillz. I love a guard with an unusually high inside scoring rating. Now that Birdsong is sporting A- outside and also cracked the dreaded C rating in defense, this guy looks like a potential stud

Big time pick here by Greeme. T.R. Dunn was said to be a Sonny Parker clone and after this nice training camp I can see it. +1 inside and +1 defense is very nice. No doubt Dunn will be a good starter/role player for his career.

Shocked at this pick. Big time reach. I feel like it was obvious that Jordan was going to only be a solid role player. With guys like Brad Davis, Wayne Cooper, Glen Gondrezick, etc on the board, this one didn't make sense to me. Outlawz has to be feeling some type of way after a meh training camp

Cooper is another Bill Buntin. Bill was a guy that could get you around 12 boards and 3+ blks in his prime and those kinds of players are extremely valuable here. I don't expect much improvement in Coops ratings so the +1 in reb is gravy. Nice pick here.

13. Indiana Pacers - Mike Glenn PG 6'2'' 175 22 C+ A- C C D B

Just don't see the hype in this guy. Pole and few others were acting like he should have been picked top 5 or something. Underwhelming training camp certainly doesn't help but apparently his true ratings are good so I guess I'll wait and see on him

I like this pick better than the Glenn pick really. Brad was said to be a great scorer and Spencer also pointed out that Brad had the best handles out of the PGs in the draft. His only real weakness seemed to be his D so the +1 there is clutch. Maybe with RCs and ACs he can be a starter.

Kind of a meh pick here but since it's pick 15 I'll start giving out passes. Definitely a # of players that I had ahead of Williams at this point and the training camp is disappointing. I doubt he'll become a solid role player at PG because Spence has said that his handles were garbage. Oh well.

I was trying to get this guy all draft night. Notes basically called him a good center that can do a little bit of everything and I was intrigued. I must say that I'm disappointed in this training camp and maybe it was a blessing in disguise that I didn't get him. Not to say that he'll be garbage forever of course.

Play always seems to get good players with the mid to late picks. Glen had pretty good notes so the fact that he went +1 inside and +1 defense is just gravy. Glen will be a solid bench player at worst.

Huge training camp by Eddie Johnson. The +3 in outside, handling and defense suddenly makes Johnson look like he could be a player in the future. That being said he probably still sucks atm and Webb should be starting at the 1 over him lol

Broph said that he needed rebounding and he got it with Mark Landsberger. The jump to A rebounding ensures that Lansberger will be a useful player for years to come. Very solid pick here.

he'd have to be low jump high inside, which based on the way Spencer described him is what I'd guess the case is.

That doesn't make it sound like it was a HUGE difference. I'd bet on Glenn's inside being around 70-75, which with 85 outside, midrange, handles, and quickness tends to be good for about 30 from the PG spot.



We'll see though, running him as my #1 option, should be fun.
