CC GETS A CHANCE TO FIRE BACK AND GO HARD! LETS GO
1. You recently traded away Walt and Cowens... what is the plan for the rest of the season and on?
My plan remains the same since last season...which is contend for a title... we have three talented guys in Jo Jo, Jones, and Bing, who we believe could take us deep in the playoffs... although there is some inconsistency in Jones and especially our frontcourt, we think our backcourt could make some noise come playoff time...but for us to be successful, we need our front court to step up.... if we don't win this year, we'll continue to look to upgrade our team in the offseason, primarily our frontcourt...we hope Parish could improve in the offseason and become our center of the future.
2. What are you thoughts on Parish? How good do you think he can be for you team?
I was really high on Parish on draft night...i wrote up a mock draft last season and projected Parish to go very high in the draft... i was really impressed by his notes... now we have him... i think he could become a great player in this league...especially for a center... there a lot of great centers in this league that are aging and i think Parish is one of the few young upcoming centers that could blossom into a great big someday...i think he could end up being really good.
3. You were recently ranked as a top 10 GM in the league? Many people disagreed... tell us why you are a top 10 GM if not higher and WHY!
I've been around the league for a long time, made the finals a couple times, and won a title... do i think i'm top 10? sure. why not? but tbh, i really don't care if i'm top 10 or not... if people think i shouldn't be top 10, then that's fine... i try to be the best gm i can possibly be in this league... but really, it's always an honor to be considered a top 10 gm in this league...and I appreciate that...but that's something I don't worry too much about.
4. People say you tank all THE TIME! Do you think you tank more than most? and why do you do it so often?
When deep drafts come around and my team is mediocre and ugly, then sure... why not tank? My team isn't position to win anything so why not? People that think I tank all the time is only a matter of opinion... i think all this discussion of me tanking started since i drafted reed and barry back to back years... tbh... i really had bad teams back then...and you should really point fingers at FBB... lottery is all about luck and that's what I had that time...if you were in my position, you would probably get back to back #1's as well...it could happen to anybody... do i tank more than most? no... anybody could tank 3 years in a row if they wanted to...i think i've competed more than tank in this league...you can look at my history.
5. Do you think you are an underrated GM? Why or why not? who is the most underrated GM if not you?
Sure...why not? i've made the playoffs many times with the warriors (before i jumped east)... where i also made the playoffs many times with the cavs and won a title there...now back to the warriors and i'm trying to make the playoffs again... i feel i've done a solid job during my tenure here...yet, i'm not discussed too much when it comes to being a top gm...sure more rings will get you more noticed...but i think many judge me more based on post padding...rather than gm'ing. ..but that's fine with me.
6. Andy recently called you out saying that people think you are better than him only because you tank all the time and you get lucky in the lotto. Tell us why thats not true and why you are better than Andy? GO HARD BK #DOIT
Like i've stated many teams, it's only a matter of opinion of what people say and think...But to answer the question, am I better than Andy? No...i think we are in the same ball park...both of us have 1 ring and we try to compete every season as possible... Do i get lucky more than him in the lottery? Yes. As for tanking, i've already explain that above.
7. People criticized you for leaving the Cavs when you did with Reed on the roster on that awful deal. Marty when as far as to say that you left them in a "horrible" situation. DO you think you left them in that bad of a shape? Why not?
First of all, I was totally fine staying with Cleveland...i brought in reed to compete that season...i also had max cap to use on vets and depth...until i receive a call from spence to take over my favorite team... i couldn't pass up the opportunity.
I didn't think Cleveland was in horrible shape at all... even spencer said,

CLE is in fine shape.
Was the price for reed heavy? sure... considering his contract was large and he was 32-33...but he was a great big and sometimes you have to pay to get one of them....to think back on it, i probably gave more picks than i should have...but that's the past and i've let it go... marty wouldn't have taken over cleveland if it was in a horrible situation... if you look beyond reed, the team had a lot of promise.. even with reed the cavs would have been solid if they added more to the team... cleveland also had all it's picks including some others and very good young talent.
8. The knicks, Hornets and Grizz just made moves to make the playoffs or win 42 wins this season. Which one, if not all, of them makes it? Who has a better future?
As long skillz doesn't have his picks, his team will make the playoffs almost every year until he trades one of his assets for one of his picks, tank, then compete again the following years... I'm pretty sure the knicks will make the playoffs this season...As for the hornets and Grizz, i think both are in the same ball park and are fighting for a playoff spot.. i think both need to find the right dc or make another trade or two to make that happen... the bottom seeds are open in the west..so it's not too late... As for the better future, I have to go with the Hornets...it's pretty clear they have a young talented PG in McCarter who I think could make the team better in the future.. They also have Cowens, Beard, and Mix who are signed on nice deals...if they were to trade them, i'm sure they could get nice young assets in return.
9. The bobcats and Magic are the 2 best teams in the league. Who do you think is the best third team?
Well since they are the top two teams in the east, I have to look in the West and go with the Denver Nuggets...they have solid bigs up front, a very good SG and a elite PG in Glock... I think they could take the West this season.
10. If you could pick any player still in their rookie deal to start a team with who would it be? why?
This is a toughy but I have to go with Micheal Ray Richardson...i think he's gonna be an absolute STUD in this league...his to's are ugly right now but that could improve in time...PG is probably the most important position and this league...so no doubt I would build around MRR to start a team.
11. BBS Finals will feature....
Orlando Magic and Denver Nuggets.
12.Give us 3 teams that have what it takes to trade for Jo Jo? Tell us what offer you would consider or pretty much do from those 3 teams.
I haven't really got many offers for Jo Jo, which is quite surprising considering he's the best SG in the league... i think teams just want me to make the first move by making offers...and i understand that... but back to the subject... Marty showed interest in Jo Jo this past offseason by offering World B Free...but after TC, he withdrew his offer... but that's understandable, considering he's still in rebuild mode this season... But would i consider his team a potential suitor for Jo Jo? sure...he has a lot of young assets on his team... As for two other teams, i can't really say right now since i'm not too sure.
13. Tell us the craziest hook up you ever had.!!! Guy or Girl LOLZ jk ! but really tell us!
Nothing crazy... I dated a cute asian chick last year..hooked up for 3-4 months but parted ways late december... I rather not get into too much detail about that.
Damn seems like a broken heart
NOUGH SAID
