1. Heatflash, you've started having some more consistent and sustained success as of late. Do you think you are underrated by most GM's? What do you think you have to do to be known as more of an upper tier GM?
Honestly, I do think I'm underrated right now. my bad reputation comes with me shitting myself with every other team I've had though. I think my time with the Wizards is more showing of my GMing ability than my other stints. As far as the other question, I obviously have to continue to have successful regular seasons, mixed with more final appearances. A ring doesn't hurt either.
2. Your team won 45 games this season. What are your plans going into the offseason?
I'm looking to retool my team. I skillz'd it with trading all my picks, so rebuilding is out of the question. My team is starting to enter their 30s, so i think I need to trade Snyder, Jasper, etc. before they start losing value.
3. Tell me the three best offers you got for Elvin Hayes before you made the trade?
Honestly most offers I got for Hayes were not even worth considering. I'm happy with what I got, but if I had to rank them:
3.Issel+Washington for Hayes which I never really considered. While I love Issel, I was never really high on Washington, and getting a wing as the main piece in a deal for the #1 or #2 big man in the league was just not great value wise.
2.Barnes+#7 projected for Hayes. This is the deal I took, and is the deal I'm content with. I think Barnes looks a lot like Hayes did his rookie year, with less rebounding. He already blocks more than Hayes did, and is the closest thing to a sure thing. Hopefully I can end up with a top 3 pick.
1.Austin Carr+Goo Kennedy+lotto pick(Bobby Jones)+future for Elvin Hayes. Rejecting this trade looks so bad in hindsight, ugh.
4. The Wizards always seems to have some difficult competition.Rank the GM's in the Atlantic division (dewayneoc, Nanz, Hf, DBW, Hype, Skillz, Repole)

6.dewayneoc: Mostly because I haven't seen him gm, but he seems to be doing a solid job as the Sixers. lots of great GMs in this division though.
5.HF: only putting myself down here because of my track record in the league. I've put together solid teams as of late, and had a good run.
4.Nanz: His run as the Nets doesn't show his true gming ability, but I think he's a top GM in the league when he actually focuses on his team & doesn't get too caught up in his young players.
3.Hype: Never really seen him GM, but he has a good team, and his track record speaks for itself.
2.DBW: Elite GM imo. He's been dominant in every league I've ever been in. Hasn't been good as of late, but chalk that up to losing players in FA. He always somehow pulls a rape out of nowhere when he needs to make a move.
1.Repole: Even though he uses FBBs flaws against everyone else, there's no denying he's an elite GM. needs to spend less time playing fbb by himself imo.
5. Repole has been dominating the East over the past decade with a clear formula: possessions and efficiency, Why do you think more GM's aren't following suit?
don't think a GM has ever not won without efficiency and more possessions than their opponent. repole isn't exactly setting a standard in the gming world.
6. Best chance of ever winning a BBS title: Biggie, Jay, or Greg?
J pretty easily. Maybe if you morphed Biggie & Greg together they would have a whopping 1% chance at winning a championship throughout their BBS careers.
7. You are offered Bobby Jones for Barnes. Do you do it?
Meh. I think I do it just for the value I'd be gaining. Jones can probably get me any player in the league if he was offered in a deal. I'm high on Barnes though, and wouldn't do it if it meant keeping the players long term.

I don't think anybody has ever called DJ dumb. He has a different way of building his team than everybody else, but it works for him and his team looks sick and will be sick for a while. loljk, dude is dumb as a rock & has lucked into his team fitting in with each other.
13. Disregarding Bingo Smith, who is the player you'd want to start your franchise with first?
You could chose so many players with this question lol. You can't go wrong with Hayes or KAJ. If you went young, can't go wrong with Jones. I honestly don't have an answer to this question.

i think it's a mixture of the personalities on the boards, the addictiveness of FBB, & us not having anything better to do with out time.

aar, more titles, more regular season success. broph is washed up, and is probably better utilized as a waterboy for spence.
