lj and glock are top 5 players
dbw's not overrated. for a while i thought he might be the best GM. he's doing a terrible job in boston though.

DBW overrated?
I'm pretty sure DBW lost Tart during FA a while back and he lost Nate a few seasons ago...But he's still winning games.
If anything Skillz is overrated.

agreed with DBW being overrated I saw your post lol. I've been doing this for so long and have been called overrated so many times that it doesn't get a rise out of me anymore. I have excuses I could make for my woes with the Celtics but no one wants to hear those.

Tart was coming off of a season where he averaged 32.4ppg 7.2rpg 5apg 2apg 3.2topg 49% FG 87% FT 45% from the line and he was selected all league 2nd team.

You shouldn't have to max a player over 30 coming coming off a max contract...Usually teams with birds can offer almost 2mil more starting than the next team. I don't know what DBW offered so I cant really comment on the bad gming part.

How can you shit on the player that gave you life? You literally had nothing of value until you made that signing and it ultimately sparked that trading spree that made you good again. I remember a post you made about how incredible it was that you were able to get so good again so fast and I remember being like word? So you're just gonna act like getting lucky with Tart had nothing to do with you being good again? lol. And for the record I don't think getting lucky with something is as big a deal as others may think. Personally I think if you're winning there's a good chance you got/have been getting lucky with SOMETHING. I just hate when people try to spin it as something else. You don't have to embrace the luck but don't try to spin it as something else. Like it was Skillz that made you steal that guy. Double entendre don't even ask me how

If anything Skillz is overrated. he tried keeping nate without maxing. that's bad gming, not luck So I offered his max starting salary which was (guessing here) a good 4 mil more than what you could have offered, as well as the 7 years. I just skimped out a little on the 12.5 so I could have a pretty contract that could be traded. No interest in looking up #s atm but I'm 100% sure that is a hell of a lot more than what he signed for. So many old vets have been signed in that exact fashion but true, that has nothing to do with luck. Only bad GMs lose their players

Each time I was on the come up I lost an important piece to my team. Regardless of what you may think of Tart he led me to 51 wins as a 23 year old averaging 32 PPG. I didn't have my pick so I flipped anything else that I had and made the ECF that next year. Lost Nate after winning 60 games. In both situations I chose to stay afloat because I didn't have my picks... and admittedly I was pissed and didn't want to rebuild after literally just coming off of one. So yea I've been meh but I did have some bright times that were ruined and I had to stay mediocre out of necessity (no picks). No way to predict I would lose two important pieces to inferior offers on b2b rebuilds
