Draft ratings: B- C C B B- A
Strengths:
Possesses great fundamentals. Has very good strength and an NBA ready body. Extremely cerebral player that has a great understanding of the game. He is very mobile and shows good overall athleticism for a player his size. Possesses one the most polished low post games ever seen in college basketball. Has an array of moves at his disposal when working on the block. Loves to shoot the bank shot from different angles. Great rebounder. Has great timing and feel on the glass. Very good length and anticipation help him average double digit rebounds on a nightly basis. Is a tough defensive player. Very good at defending the post and shows excellent timing with his help defense. Elite shot blocker that doesn't pick up many fouls. Can dominate a game in a variety of ways. Showed improvement from year to year while at Wake Forest. Has the desire and work ethic to continue to improve at the next level.
Weaknesses:
Not an explosive player. Won't jump over people. Not very flashy. Has a style of game that some may not find overly entertaining. Has become a better passer since his first year at Wake, but still has room for improvement in this area. Shooting range is limited. Not a good FT shooter.
Outlook:
Franchise level talent. If he can remain healthy, he should be one of the top players in the BBS for a very long time. A potential future league MVP type of player.
