Joe Smith 20 years old PF 6'10" 225lbs Maryland Ratings: B- C C- B- C+ A Strengths- Joe loves to score. He can take it inside, and if he's over matched physically, he can just take that jumper all day. He has very good length, and will be a solid shot blocker at the next level. Handles the ball fairly well for a big man. Weaknesses- He's not the strongest player, nor is he the best rebounder. I could see him get overpowered and outplayed by bigger PFs in this league. And although he does have a B- defensive rating, he fouls a lot, and his post defense is suspect. Outlook- Depending on who declares in this draft, I could see Joe Smith going somewhere in the top 5. He's pretty much everything you like in a powerforward. If he lands some more weight and improves his strength, he should be a solid all around starter when it's all said and done.

Nice player, but not quite as physically imposing as youd like from your PF. More of a jumpshooter. Still he should have a solid career, and he does do some thing you like from the PF spot.

Similar ratings to McDyess. I like Smith's skill set, could maybe even use him as a SF. Top 15 pick.

Could outperform a lot of other prospects in this draft.

Yeah he could be a nice pick. Really hard to read players like this, which is why drafts are so fun.

Had the warriors never played him at sf (causing him to take jump shots) he would've been worth the #1 pick.

Hmm...after thinking about it I would give him a fringe B-/B inside and drop the defense down to C+. His defense will top out with decent potential..

He was really good in the beginning of his career. I'm surprised he's still in the league.
