1) Dave Bing PG 24 6'3'' 180 B+ A- B+ A- C B
It took him some time, but Bing has proven that he warranted the top overall pick.
Bing could stand to improve his ball handling, but the rest of his game is air tight. His percentages are awesome and he's only going to get better.
Bing has helped turn the Celtics franchise around after years of mediocrity due to previous GMs performing poorly.
2) Archie Clark PG 25 6'2'' 175 B B A+ B C B
Clark is another stud point guard in this draft and there are more to come on this list.
Clark is averaging nearly 25/11 and isn't turning the ball over much.
Since I have the Pistons pick, Clark is pretty much the bane of my existence.
Clark has huge loyalty and low greed and could end up being a Pistons lifer.
3) Lou Hudson SF 24 6'5'' 210 B+ A C B+ C+ B
Hudson is playing second fiddle to Larry Jones and is still putting up staggering numbers.
His percentages are off the wall and he does everything well.
Hudson may be the most well-rounded player in this entire draft and is perpetually underrated in BBS.
He has a bright future and I imagine that the Bobcats will parlay him into a big that gets matched up with Larry.
4) Stephen Chubin PG 24 6'2'' 200 C+ A- A- A- C C
Chubin moves from 17th overall into the top-5 after some stellar TCs and proof that he can be a solid starting point guard.
The worrisome thing about Chubin is that his ratings seem to be better than his output and it's doubtful that they get that much better.
Although, given what his ratings were when he was drafted, there's still a chance that he explodes into a B- A A A C C type, which would elevate him higher on this list.
Personally, I doubt it.
5) Cazzie Russell SG 23 6'5'' 218 A- B+ C A- D+ B
Cazzie is a great scorer, but not much else.
He's not a very good ball-handler for an SG, his defensive output isn't exhibited on the stat sheet and he's a rebounding liability.
His percentages are serviceable, but he stands to improve.
Like Chubin, Russell has very nice ratings, but his output doesn't do them justice.
6) Jim Barnett SG 23 6'4'' 170 B- A C- A C- A
Another non-lotto player that makes it onto this list is Jim Barnett, who is a solid starter.
He's not great at anything, but, with the exception of rebounding and passing, is good at everything. He shoots high percentages, defends well and takes great care of the ball.
Barnett is the perfect non-option starter for a contending team because you know what he's going to give you.
7) Walt Wesley PF 23 6'11'' 220 B- C C- A B+ A
Let me start by saying that if Wesley blocked more than 2.5 shots per game, he would be way higher on this list.
Wesley is a solid player, but needs to improve in many areas before proving that he can be the starter on a championship-caliber team.
His field goal percentage is awful and he should be grabbing more boards given his high rebounding rating.
That said, Wesley is a nice frontcourt piece who should get better.
8) Joe Ellis SF 24 6'6'' 175 C+ C+ D A A- B
Ellis is a weird player, but definitely a plus starter.
He takes care of the ball, is an awesome mid-range shooter and rebounder and is efficient at both ends.
Ellis has gotten better every year.
9) Donnie Freeman SG 24 6'3'' 185 A- B+ C+ C C- B
Freeman is another stud scorer in the mold of Cazzie Russell, but the difference is that Freeman is a defensive liability.
Freeman takes care of the ball, but puts up average percentages for his position and other than scoring well, he doesn't do much else.
10) Dick Snyder PG 23 6'5'' 207 A- C C- A- C- B
Snyder's move to PG is a baffling one, but he's a solid player.
Snyder is a solid player, but what does the future hold for him at PG? Can he be a serviceable starter?
Time will tell.
11) Clyde Lee C 24 6'10'' 205 C+ C D A A C
You know what you're getting from Clyde Lee. Awesome defense and rebounding, mediocre offense.
There seem to be a lot of these players floating around.
12) John Block C 24 6'9'' 207 B C C A- A- C
Block is a solid player, but his liability is his last name, he can't block!
Block isn't getting minutes, but it would be interesting to see what he could do.
13) Lonnie Lynn SF 25 6'7'' 215 A- C C- A- B C
Like John Block, we don't really know what Lonnie Lynn can do, but he has nice ratings.
For a second rounder, Lynn has great ratings.
It will be interesting to see what sort of money he makes if he tests free agency.
Here's the original draft order:
1 Boston Celtics - Dave Bing PG 6'3'' 180 22 B B- B B- C A
2 Golden State Warriors - Cazzie Russell SF 6'5'' 218 21 B+ B- C- B+ D+ A

4 Los Angeles Clippers -Walt Wesley C 6'11'' 220 21 B- C- C- B- B- A
5 Golden State Warriors -Donnie Freeman SG 6'3'' 185 22 A- B C+ C C B
6 Detroit Pistons - Archie Clark PG 6'2'' 175 23 B- B B- C+ C A
7 Washington Wizards - Dick Snyder SG 6'5'' 207 21 A- C C B D+ B
8 Dallas Mavericks - John Beasley C 6'9'' 225 22 B B D+ B B B
9 Atlanta Hawks - Jack Marin SF 6'7'' 200 22 B- B- C B+ C+ A
10 Toronto Raptors - Joe Ellis SF 6'6'' 175 22 C+ C C- A- A- A
11 Charlotte Bobcats - Stew Johnson C 6'8'' 220 22 B- B+ D+ B- C+ B
12 Portland Trailblazers - Julian Hammond SF 6'5'' 205 23 B+ C- C- A- B C
13 Charlotte Bobcats - Red Robbins C 6'8'' 190 22 C+ B+ C- B C+ B
It took him some time, but Bing has proven that he warranted the top overall pick.
