That Bob Love is a second-tier piece is largely a testament to the quality of the guys in front of him, as Love might be the best inside scorer in the league. Offensively, Love looks like Ho Walker with a bit better percentages, fewer turnovers, and more free throw attempts. If not for the fact that the Thunder play likely the slowest pace in the league, Love might have the flashy 30 points a night to boost his value. Love is a poor stats defender and he can’t range out to the three-point line just yet. He’s hovered around 30% for his career, so with an AC (ahem) and some TC improvement, he could get there. If he does, he’ll reach superstar status. For now, though, he's a scoring machine, a great ballhandler, and a plus rebounder with room to grow.
