Walt was a pretty clear #1 I thought, Outside oriented bigs can have a tough time developing Mel = AJ Hammonds very very doubtful

Probably a little less then ideal.
Hammonds was a very poor jumper, but he had at least solid strength...his inside was pretty blegh to start, but, most importantly, his age at 19 allowed him to maintain his potential for an extra TC

Kasey Hill was the beast in that draft though, for a PG
50 Inside 74 Jump Shot 70 3 Point 77 Handles 52 Passing 57 Steals 5 Blocks 40 Post D 55 Perimeter and Drive D 50 O and D rebounding 75 Strength 40 Jumping, 18 started with 94 potential but it jumped to 100 right away
his big weakness was the fact that he was only a 40 quicks

damn, low blocking to start and developed into a good shotblocker yeah he jumped to 50 after one TC and was at like 68 or something after two, it was ridiculous

Either way Mel was the clear cut #2 pick, 3 bpg don't come around often especially for a rookie. Plus he has a chance to be a very good offensive player.

I would have went with Walt #1 too, you know he's gonna be a stud, but there's a chance Mel is just a mediocre offensive player with good shotblocking
