PER - an attempt at combing all stats into one, per minute rating. Meh, not that applicable here, but I listed it anyways. Average is 15.

Poss% - The percentage of a team's possessions that a player used, primarily by taking a shot, getting to the free throw line, or turning the ball over.
TS% - A true measure of shooting efficiency, similar to eFG% except it also factors in free throws. League average is 53.6%.
TO/poss - The percentage of possessions a player turned the ball over. Again, assists are not factored into possessions. League average is 12.0%.
REB% - The percentage of available rebounds a player grabbed while on the court. League average is 10%.

PG Top 10 Rankings
These rankings do not take contract or age into account, only who the best players in the league are right now, at this very moment. To decide that, I've used stats primarily from this season combined with ratings and a given player's statistical history.
NOTE: PG efficiency is down from what it used to be. Definitely doesn't seem like the PG dominated league it used to be, despite some studs at the top.
1. Jerry West PG 26 6'2'' 178 A- A A- A C C
-West is an absolute beast. Early in his career there were some concerns that he might be too turnover prone, but thankfully he got the proper RC and AC attention and that's no longer an issue. He absolutely does it all on the court, he's damned near the perfect PG.
2. Purnell Jackson PG 32 6'7'' 210 B+ A- A A- C B
-The recently traded Purnell Jackson is still an elite player in every sense of the word. It's really a toss up between him and West, the gap is so small that it isn't worth analyzing. Purnell's come a long way from his earlier days, he now shoots the ball extremely well from anywhere on the court, as opposed to being mostly an inside and mid range scorer like he was a few years ago. If the Grizzlies can't win 42 with Purnell, they don't belong in BBS.
3. K.C. Jones PG 32 6'1'' 209 A- A- A+ A C B
-K.C. isn't the timid, no three point shot point guard that he was when he entered the league. Now he's as ball dominant as anyone, capable of dropping 30 points on any given night, and doing so without turning the ball over. My only complaint with KC is that he doesn't seem to get too many steals, but Wilt and Cunningham should provide all the defense the TWolves need.
4. Bradley Barker PG 32 6'0'' 192 B A A+ B+ D+ C
-Barker's long been one of my favorite players in the league. One of the best shooters and scorers BBS has to offer, Barker's had the misfortune of never winning a championship. Seems as though the Grizzlies are more focused on just making the playoffs right now, so that doesn't seem like it'll come to an end anytime soon, but hopefully he gets that chance before his career ends.
5. Jacquez Knight PG 36 6'3'' 195 B A- A B- C F
-He's been in the league for a long time, but he's still just as effective as ever. He doesn't tun the ball over, he gets a good amount of steals, shoots the ball extremely well, and puts up a decent amount of volume. Unfortunately I don't know how much he has left in the tank, but it's been a hell of a career.
6. Guy Rodgers PG 30 6'0'' 197 B A- A A- C C
-Rodgers had quite a year for the Wizards, contributing points in bunches, steals, and rebounds. His turnover rate is a little high, but he shoots the ball well enough to make up for it. He's not on the same level as the five guys above him in this list, but he's a good enough that you could certainly win a championship with him starting for you.
7. Shorty Patterson PG 27 5'10'' 159 C+ A- A- B+ D C
-Shorty is a pretty fun player. He's the last guy on this list other than King who manages to combine volume and efficiency offensively. Defesively he racks of the steals as well, though he's pretty brutal on the glass, even for a PG. All in all, I'd be more than happy if Shorty was my starting PG, quality player.
8. Paul Neumann PG 26 6'1'' 175 C+ A- A- B- C- B
-I didn't see the hype when the Bobcats dealt for Neumann, but he appears to be a very solid starting PG. The turnovers could be lower, and it'd be great if he'd rebound, but he shoots the ball well and is more than capable of carrying part of a team's scoring load.
9. Al Attles PG 29 6'0'' 190 A- C A A- C+ C
-The new Bob Cousy. He's inefficient scoring the ball thanks to that sub 52% TS%, but that doesn't stop him from taking a lot of shots. I'm really not a fan, but at this point in the list things start getting a little bleak.
10. Vince King
-His ratings don't look pretty, but the dude still gets the job done. Steals, low turnovers, high shooting percentages, other than his poor man to man defense there's a lot to love about King. You could argue a bunch of guys on the honorable mention list over him, but last year, while he was on the court, I believe King was statistically more valuable.
Honorable Mention
Tracy Parker - Despite the 4 turnovers a game, his 112.9 oRtg is still decent.
Lenny Wilkins - Volume, but low efficiency.
John Smyth - Rock solid, but his inability to shoot the 3 holds back his offensive efficiency.
Jim King - One of the better role playing PGs around, the next Vince King perhaps.
Chico Vaughn - He can score.
Dick Groat - Pretty much mediocrity itself.
Lavelle Langston - Pacers are taking a solid step back with him instead of Barker.
Slick Leonard - Was pretty miserable on offense, but the rebounding, steals, and blocks were big for the Hornets.
Dishonorable Mention
Carl Cole - Horribly inefficient, way too much shooting for someone who isn't very good.
Walt Hazard - 102 oRtg. Yuck. Thankfully still young.
Porter Meriweather - 104 oRtg, pretty rough.
