The course content for my English class is so incredibly neo-liberal it is scary. We just got a piece of literature that I guarantee you no one in this class will understand. It is such an incoherant rambling of racing thoughts terribly tying loose ends and lacking any organization.
It is called "Men and Women In Search of a Common Ground" by Wendell Berry. Most ridiculously abstract writing piece I have ever read. All over the fucking place.

The thesis of the essay looks for the reasons for impermanance of sexual and human relationships and then it turns into a fucking mess written by a guy who was tripping on LSD.

"The industrial economy has made its way among us by a process of division degradation and then replacement." "It's only after we have been divided against each other hat work and the products of work can be degraded; itis only after work and its products have been degraded that workers can be replaced by machines. Only when thought has been degraded can a mind be replaced by a machine or a society of experts of a government."
Anarchist? Don't agree with you dude, but can potentially see the point your making. Really can't tie this into the impermance of sexual and relationships between men and women though. Maybe I'm lacking the ingenuity.

Don't think the industrial revolution was the catalyst behind "division, degradation and replacement" either. Pretty sure that was religion.
