You guys are clueless. Has anyone noticed how high turnovers are in this league. Muggsy's A:TO is over 7:1. That's insane. 2x more steals than turnovers, 9.9 APG, 1.3 TPG. And he doesn't make a lot. You're overvaluing what a max actually is, and he's worth what he gets paid. Vernon Maxwell getting a max, or anything above 7 million, is a joke, but Muggsy is a top PG. I knew that if I got Muggsy, I'd be the best team in the West. LOL at you Martinez. You're just always wrong. I just said it was larger than expected. Maxwell contract is obviously worse. |

76ers also had DRob and Hersey Hawkins. yeah, and i have ewing, malone, drexler and zeke. they wouldn't have won without muggsy, and getting him puts me over the top. You're already over the top with the aforementioned 4. Why not spend the cap space on some awesome depth, something Spence said you severely lacked last season. |

TO's are so much irrelevant right now then they were in the last BBS. IMO it is stupid to max a guy because of his ASS-TO ratio when the teams who have won have PG's turning it over in the 3-4 range PG. What I don't like about Muggsy is he is so small, won't be good on offense and is probably a liability on defense as well. he shoots 47% and puts up double figures. i have PLENTY of scoring. WTF is "good on offense"? 9.9 apg and 1.3 tpg isn't "good on offense". you don't change FBB. low turnovers is a big advantage - they're so rare that A team with high turnovers won twice, but don't act like muggsy's team didn't just win. turnovers are always a big factor. i'd say they're a lot more relevant when most good PGs do 3+ and my guy does 1.3. |
