Weird situation. Habes is acting like Marty now. you offering a freebie +3 is acknowledging i deserve the points for my work, so why not just give me what everyone has voted i deserve? Its acknowledging I want you to STFU.

there's no rule that says a GM interview doesn't get the points voters say it gets. that's absurd. i did the work to get the +5 and the people have spoken. so why no +5?

precedent is completely illogical and unfair, and you never once explained that that was the case with GM interviews. not like i'm alone on this. it's plain to everyone that there was no rule and i did the work that deserves a +5.

The rule is what has already been done. If things go a certain way, thats an implied rule.

but sure, everyone votes +5 and there's nothing posted on the forum that says a GM interview doesn't get you a +5, and i'm supposed to default to a precedent you a) didnt even remember (since you said you werent sure what you did with greeme/maniac) and b) everyone acknowledges is completely unfair to the dude who does 99% of the work

How is precedent illogical and unfair? That is the worst argument Ive ever heard. Precedent is one of the most important things when making and following rules.

HMmm, how many points did those guys get for interviews? I wonder. Because in all other cases the poster gets the poll results. So ya, I wonder what Id get in an interview scenario. LOL, thats what I wouldve done.

i had no reason to assume i wasnt getting points for doing 99% of the work on an article that was getting 5s.
