This mock is based purely on ratings and draft profiles as no notes have been completed at the time of this article being posted.
1) Minnesota Timberwolves - Franz Reinhart C 7'0'' 231 19 B- B C C+ B- A
Between Ramsey and Reinhart and I'm going with the Dirk Nowitzki-esque Reinhart to go first overall. With the versatility of Raskauskas, Reinhart will be an incredible compliment and be their best player as soon as next season.
2) Dallas Mavericks - Antonio Ramsey PF 6'9'' 259 22 A- C C C+ C+ A
They're stacked with talent up front, so they select Ramsey in hopes that he will eventually become a small forward or that they can trade some frontcourt talent to open up space for Ramsey to start.
3) Atlanta Hawks - Douglas Washington SG 6'7'' 210 20 B B C+ C+ C A
At 20 years of age and so well-rounded, Washington makes the most sense at this spot. The only position where the Hawks lack youth is SG and this appears to be the obvious pick.
4) L.A. Lakers - Bob Carl PG 6'3'' 190 21 C+ C+ A- C+ C- A
Jennings is not the long-term answer and Rivers doesn't sim well at PG, so they go with the versatile Carl and hope that he ends up becoming a player similar to Jennings with time.
5) Orlando Magic - Patrick Stevens PF 6'9'' 235 20 C+ C+ C- B+ B- A
The Magic are waiting on Flint's arrival from his naval duties and select Stevens as a compliment. This is a team that is working towards building a strong defensive core and Stevens makes the most sense here.
6) Miami Heat - Juno Tremont PF 6'9'' 215 19 B C- C B C+ A
The Heat need a point guard, but decide to take the best player available in Tremont. Looks like a Chris Bosh-type who can do a bit of everything and if he has high upside, the sky's the limit.
7) Golden State Warriors - A.J. Perkins SF 6'9'' 207 20 B+ B D+ C+ C+ A
The Warriors are in a weird situation with a combination of old and young, so they take a player who could one day score 30 ppg to compliment Teague. They'll have to worry about turnovers down the line, but Perkins is tough to pass up at this spot.
8) Miami Heat (via Knicks) - Jay Johnson PG 6'3'' 195 23 B- C+ A B+ D+ C
The Heat need a point guard and reach to get one who can start right away. Johnson looks like a gamer and could turn the Heat around immediately.
9) New Orleans Hornets - Randall Connolly SG 6'5'' 200 22 B C B- B- C+ A
The Hornets continue to strengthen their inside offense by adding Connolly, who can do a little bit of everything. Connolly looks like a boom-or-bust prospect whose ceiling will be determined by the development of an outside game.
10) Houston Rockets (via Wizards) - Marvin McCleod SF 6'7'' 230 20 B+ C+ C- B- C A
McCleod helps boost a versatile Rockets offense and adds even more depth to an already deep squad. McCleod may never be an All-Star, but he could end up being another very valuable piece of the puzzle for an improving Rockets team.
11) New York Knicks (via Bobcats) - Vaughntavious Reed PF 6'9'' 235 20 C+ C- C C+ A A
We all know that Skillz loves specialty players and Reed is a specialist of the highest order. The Knicks have terrible rebounding and Reed could average 12+ rpg off the bat.
12) Detroit Pistons - T.J. Walker PF 6'11'' 200 21 C C+ B B B+ B
Walker's versatility is exceptionally intriguing and Andy pounces on it. This is one of the strangest players in draft history, but he could certainly pay dividends if he has any sort of potential.
13) Indiana Pacers (via Clippers) - Timothy Rouser SF 6'9'' 232 21 C+ B+ C+ C+ C+ A
The Pacers have been absolutely red hot as of late and they decide to take the best player available, who at this spot, is no doubt Timothy Rouser. He's got incredible versatility and high advertised upside. Rouser will rouse the interest of many teams picking in this area code.
1) Minnesota Timberwolves - Franz Reinhart C 7'0'' 231 19 B- B C C+ B- A
