I think it would make the league more competitive if we did some changing to the draft files. I don't know maybe I'm out of line here but I feel like who we know is going to be good and who won't be. It make it easier just to tank and get good by that way. Maybe we could mix it up and bust some guys who are the 1st couple of picks. Make no name guys studs. I think it would be fun if guys like Lebron is a giant bust and a guy like Stacey Augmon were huge stars. My gripe is that I just don't feel like the drafts are realistic and draftees future abilities are just handed to GM's on a silver platter.

mix up the drafts so we all don't know well in advance which drafts are good and which ones are not. If we aren't following the NBA then our drafts don't need to either.

No offense CC, but what were you expecting Mutombo to be?
His best season scoring wise was under 17ppg. I'd give him another year or two and he'll be putting up 12ppg 12rpg 3bpg type years. That's pretty much what he did his whole career.

Not like the current system is that big of an issue but it would be cool if we have a mock and Spence's notes say he has a lot of potential and the guy is a complete bust, and vice versa. I just think we are given to much knowledge and the system rewards the absolute shit out of tankers.

That's pretty much what he did his whole career. I expected him to bust. But I took him since I needed a center. |

It's a bust if Mutombo doesn't get high A defense and a lot better rebounding. I think that's all anyone who draft Mutombo should have hoped for.

A D and B+ rebounding would give him appropriate numbers. Not sure what else you would be expecting.

I guess I dont understand what this post has to do with how this league has gone so far. I mean I dont think that top 5 picks, shit even top 3 picks have had the type of impact that would constitute a problem. I mean teams that have tanked all 3 years are still worried about next year and their CY.

I feel like it is going to be pretty mixed up and there is not need to make some blatant busts and such. Let spence do his thing, he has done this multiple times he knows what to do.
