Yeah it's always weird when for some reason when no one else values someone like you do. Never happens. yeah, cause Reggie Lewis is a superstar bro. Ah, so Duckworth or Buck are superstars? No obviously not, but I'd take Reggie Lewis over them any day, especially since A) I won't shell out money for Duckworth next year and B) Buck is old as ballsacks and I already fucking have old big men. How does that even make sense at all? Judging by the replies in this thread, I'm obviously not the only one who thinks you're overvaluing your players, so I guess we're all just wrong then, huh? But in the end, who ends up not trading the players? K |

Buck blows. Oak and Michael Cage are better than him. Jack Haley shits on him! I don't even know the league and I know those guys are better than him off the top of my head. Also, scoring is very far from everything. Duckworth can only score. His rebunding as a C is as bad as it gets. No way anyone takes him over guys like Alton Listen and Felton Spencer. I'm sure there are other guys, but I don't feel like looking. If you had top 7 guys upfront, don't you think your team would be way better? You're just overvaluing both of them! LOL. Buck blows. Yeah. He averaged 19/11 last year on good %'s. Plays solid D. Oak is better than him? Oakley hasn't played to his ratings AT ALL. Ask Skillz, he even said Oak is overrated. Michael Cage is solid, but I'd still take Buck over him. Duckworth sucks at rebounding, yeah, but he's a great scorer and a solid defender. You can make the case for Alton Lister, but Felton Spencer? I'd take Duck over him every day of the week. Lol. I lost in the Finals season 1, lost in the Conf. Finals season 2. I've been one of the 3 or 4 best teams both seasons. Yeah, clearly my team hasn't been good. Shocking that Skillz talked down a player he dealt. Very unfamiliar territory  Nobody said your team isn't good. I said that if you actually had top 7 guys at PF and C, your team would be the best in BBS year in, year out. You're overrating your guys. Duckworth is weak. He's good at one thing and has pretty unimpressive ratings. Buck was a lot better last year, but at this point, a lot of guys are better than he is. Right now, I'd say Duckworth and Buck are pretty average. There's a lot of clutter in BBS among the tanking teams, but if you consider the quality of bigs on good teams, it's hard to call either guy anything but average value-wise. |

A lot of people overvalue players, and I may too, you're probably right. Hell, you overvalue guys too, don't even deny it.
The whole point was I think it's funny that I'm having trouble even shopping Duckworth or Williams when they're two quality bigs. I may ask for a lot, yeah, but I'm not even getting interest, which is what I find funny.

Sorry, when I have three big men that rotate and play pretty good to very good defense, why the hell would I need a one-dimensional player for my younger guard who's not only pretty good offensively, but deceptively good on defense considering he was All-Defensive 2nd Team last year? How does that even make sense? To top it off, Duckworth is expiring and probably not worth the contract you'd have to pay him to keep him. If you'd rather have Duckworth, then keep him and stop bitching about not being able to get what you want for him, obviously everyone else sees him lesser than you do. |

We've had 2 seasons bro. The same team won twice. Pig did a nasty job putting together a sick trio that no one could stop. Duck has about 85 inside. I couldn't even improve it last season because it was 85 or higher, I just RC'd it yesterday. He's a solid defender too. Right, cause Buck all of a sudden is crap now. His stats are going up after a crappy first sim(primarily because of the DC I used), he'll be back up around what he put up last year pretty soon. We'll just have to disagree. Both are top 7-8 bigs at their positions in my eyes, and I'm going off ratings and stats. Yeah, Buck is old. Yeah, that hurts his value. I get it. It's nothing new, I have no issue keeping them, I'll make another few runs with this team as is if I have to. No reason we won't win 55+ every year. |
