Not winning a National Championship and losing our coach who was then replaced with an idiot. The idiot is then given a longterm 100% guaranteed deal. Not that he is looking that great this point but Terrell Pryor was more than likely coming here at that point in time as well.

Still a pretty damn good first start for Dixon. Even more impressive because he was on the road against the Ravens.
Still wish he ran more, I think the coaches didn't utilize his skills as well as they could of.

Our 2007 loss may be the most devastating loss to any program in the history of college football. Yeah it didn't matter if you guys won but it was just sweet to win again. Yeah it was a good win. I thought that was definitely our poorest coaching job of the season on offense. It was ugly, and I don't so much think it was the fault of Stull (entirely). Since it was more than likely my last game as a student I got as drunk as I could. I don't remember most of the first half but I wouldn't really blame Stull for the loss. It was a lot of things and he was a part of it, but the coaching was awful as well.

He was going to a marquee program, West Virginia is not that. As for the rest of it, whatever there's been more debilitating losses. Far more.

Far more. you do realize it was WVU OSU PSU and he wanted to stay close to home (because of his dad) and play in the spread why did Michigan suddenly become a factor again when Rich went there? Because that is who Pryor wanted to play for but it was too far and he had eliminated them about 3 months before that (before Carr retired)

2 or 3 big recruits at the time committed to PItt instead of WVU because of the loss as well

Because that is who Pryor wanted to play for but it was too far and he had eliminated them about 3 months before that (before Carr retired) Oregon was there as well. I'm sure he considered WVU strongly because they ran a spread offense, but in the end it was going to be PSU or OSU. Michigan had a run at him because it was a big-time school and Rich Rod was there.
