can't stop Bird at SG. Dumb that I can't play Tyler there. Meh. Don't see how a guy being a shooter makes him playing SG any less ridiculous. Awww Repole doesn't like gimmicks? Lol

Rule should allow playing someone at SG as long as the SF is SG eligible. That way matching guys up defensively wouldn't be impossible. Not like playing Purvis at SF and Tyler at SG gives me any general advantage, whereas not being able to match guys up defensively is a pretty big disadvantage.

Lol lol I'm obviously fine with gimmicky things, just don't like when certain ones are outlawed (lol) for arbitrary reasons. Allowing a guy like Bird at SG and not a guy like Tyler (or Willie Davis etc) is exactly the type of thing that I argued against when the rule was made. whatevsss. I get the limiting rebounding thing, but no reason to make the player's offensive game/style have any impact.

Which is why I'm using this example to illustrate how they don't really accomplish what was meant to be accomplished by them?

Which is why I'm using this example to illustrate how they don't really accomplish what was meant to be accomplished by them? Can't cover every situation Pg rule also causes problems When teams tank they don't sign pgs and nobody can be moved there Also cause defensive matchup problems

Can't cover every situation Pg rule also causes problems When teams tank they don't sign pgs and nobody can be moved there Also cause defensive matchup problems Which is why I suggested a change that covers more situations. And the PG thing doesn't cause the same type of issues matchup wise at all. In this situation a team can swap the SF/SG against a team like mine and I can't do anything to counter while most teams could. With PGs both team's have to be starting a PG eligible player so there's really no wiggle room.
