It's about time!! Nanz asked for questions half a year ago and finally got around to answering them.

Broph! Damn you for taking Kermit away! I haven't really thought about it that much this season but damn if only we had Kermit this team would be a lot better with him and Cowens up front Oh what could have been.

Which 3 gms are the worst? What makes them the worst?
HF. Never been a fan of him. He is an OK gm at best. He made the finals once big deal who gives a shit. The thing that makes him the worst is that he tries to play the part of the guy that doesn't give a shit and pretends to believe that he is the best GM in the league (not even he can believe that). Good activity not a good GM.
Jay- You can call it luck or whatever but he is in his CY and could easily be fired if it was any other year. He has had a ton of talent and hasn;t done anything with it. He seems like a good guy and he is a good guy for the league but just not a good GM. Seems to me that he just can't pull the trigger at the right times. That repole story is hilarious tho lol.
Here i'll go outlaws. He is not a bottom 3 at all but i need him to get it going! He has done everything he could have done with the team he was given and finally has his pick. This is when he can finally see if he still has what it takes. People are knocking him a lot because of the lack of time he spends on the boards but i think he could easily be a top 10 gm again but i need him to prove it. we are about to see what he has left and i can't wait because it would be great for the league.

Ummmm I guess there are a couple. I know Biggie offered me Rudy for Dick Cunningham and picks. This was right after i lost kermit and Dick was far from his replacement. Didn't ask what picks so maybe they could have been really good but I was trying to win so it didn't make sense for me. He was trying to help so hey it happens.
Then there was Skillz offering me Cap for Ford LOL this literally just happened. He thought i said i'd trade him for cap in my block so honest mistake. I couldn't think of others so this will have to do. Oh maybe another one was i think Bob love and Glock for Carr and Rudy or something like that? those guys were like 39 years old already so like i dk. You probably remember the offer better than i do.(ed note - i don't remember anything like this but who knows?)
Who does Hype overrate more, Moore or Neal
I've tried to only get Moore so i'll go with him. Neal i knew i didn't have what it took or close to it so i didn't bother. Moore i also didn't have a ton of alot to get him but he made it seem that after Carr and Kermit there was nothing i could do. I tried getting Clark too who is old and didn't have a ton of value and could not get him at all so maybe it was him before this last off-season.(ed note - I tried to get Neal and he wanted Skeeter and Ray)
Play seems laid back lately, is it for real?
Laid back? I mean Play is play. As of late he has been making posts and expressing his opinions like usual so i don't think he has changed. His team is good again and at the top of the east which is something he guaranteed. He has been making posts on the spurs trade today so i don't think Play has changed at all which is a good thing.

LOL ummm yeah I thought he was good when i had him for the first 2 years. He always shot over 50% from the field and i thought he would be what rudy is today. He was over 85 in strength and Inside so i thought he could be something pretty good. He came in as a PF so i thought his rebounding would be a lot better and would be awesome at the 3. I should have traded him sooner but hey it happens... i don't think he ever had top value but a lot people really liked him; shame he didn't turn out better since spence said he had top potential in his notes.
Pig bailed in the middle of his cy. What are your thoughts? Chicken or egg question – does having a lousy team make you bored or does making you bored have a lousy team?
Pig is a good friend of mine but man yeah can't believe he just left during his contract year. I would have rather seen him stick with it and even if he wouldn't have made it, it would have been a better way to leave. Ever since he realized/thought the Aar move to the east killed his team for some reason (can't remember what it was? something about picks?) it seems to me he lost interest which caused him to get bored with his lousy team. He was into it when he made big trades to get Mullins when he had Dr J and thought he would win the West. He should have just kept Dr. J and build around him.
grade Jay's cy performance on a scale of 1-10 . is he going to make it? Marty just got Webb and Hayes is coming back soon
I know this is late but yeah he is gonna make it. (ed note - good call. i guess the question made sense 50 days ago) Whats his grade? ummmm maybe a 4 or 5. He did go out and get Menglet which saved his season but meh any other year he probably doesn't make it. Just because it is the bird/magic draft everyone is tanking so he is gonna make it as the 8th seed because everyone sucks dick not because he is good. There is also still a chance he doesn't get 42 wins which is lame. Hopefully he has a better rebuild these next 3 years.
name one underrated player on your team?
At the time this question was given to me it would have been Rudy. The guy is a great defender and sweet rebounder at the 3 which is awesome. His FG% was always around 50% which is awesome. he got blocks and steals and jsut a great overall player to have. Not a star but a next tier guy. On this team now i don't think there is an underrated guy... Carr probably just because he is a complete stud and nobody knows he exists. He was considered as one of the worst first overall picks which makes no sense to me because he really is a superstar.
Who is this ac going to?
Ummmm not sure. Maybe barnett? I'll probably keep it just because i don't have anyone really to use it on. Not worth using it on Mel davis so meh. Cowens has 1 AC left but he is over 85+ on a bunch of things like strength inside and both reboundings so we'll see. Maybe thats why i took so long to answer these lol
Are the Nets a top 10 team this year?
For sure. We have proved it over the season and we should make some noise in the playoffs. I know you said we weren't as good as the 6ers bulls and Cats but the games prove other wise. we are 4-0 vs the 6ers and 3-0 vs the bulls after getting ma boy Cowens. Cats we've only played once and beat them when they were 100% healthy so yea. we are pretty underrated but hopefully we can make some noise in the playoffs and prove we are a top team.
How many users are really Habes?
There are at least 9. My boy Habes does his thing. The man likes to have a good time so yeah let him have as many users as he wants! maybe more than 1 team! my friend like it , I like it (ed note - give Timtim a team)

Yup. I actually offered Repole Carr and Kermit for Bingo but he didn't want that deal so who knows. Thought we would have been pretty good with Bingo NVL barnett rudy and Ford but we will never know. Now iI might be a little more hesitant to make a deal just because i don't think i would have the assets to surround him with good players.
Is Barnett a top 5 sg?
Sure. He is really good still and should continue to be a really good SG for 3 more years. He can score inside and out and also has great defense. He gets 2+ steals and doesn't turn the ball over at all. His %s are always among the best so i can't see why wouldn't still be a top 5 guard. He is not a top 5 SG value wise but player i would say sure.
you can fire 3 gms- who are they?
Can't really say 3 guys that should be fired. The new guys are going a good job so far and they seem to know what they are doing. Duke came in and has done a great job with a 6ers team that couldn't save D from making his cy. Iloveball is doing a good job rebuilding and should pair up barnes with a stud this draft. HF sucks but he is active so he is good to the league. If he wasn't as active he would get the boot. Kobe has actually put together a good squad so no problem there, not everyone can be an elite GM.

Draft: I'll say 8.5. I have done a good job drafting and getting guys with late picks that have helped my team. I drafted Buse over some PGs in a weak draft and he became the best pg from that years class without a doubt. Mel Davis was a very late pick and he is a really solid big who is a great rebounder and defender... not dickey but a great backup. Then the top picks i don't ever miss on. Havz Carr and going back Gilchrist etc.
FA: 0 i lost Kermit so yeah i suck I have never gotten a great player in FA despite having cap. Just solid players but nothing great.
DC: 8 Im not the best at doing DCs but i seem to find a good one for every team i have. Sometimes i think im one little move away from finding the perfect one but i don't think i ever do. I think the team this year can be better but i havent found the gold DC yet.... I get good DCs but not the gold number 1s ones.
Trading: 9. Im not hard nor easy to trade with but i can be patient. I don't really make trades that i get raped on and id like to think every trade i make improves my team. Sure i've had some bad ones like aziz for the suns pick but at the time laws was winning around 40 games and i thought i would sell high but it didnt work out that well. I make trades that i want to make i dont really get convinced on them.
Skillz or aar?
I'll go with aar. Both are great GMs in this league and both have very different styles. I say Aar because of the success he has had in the league winning all those rings. He also has bingo now so hey he will probably win at least one more. Like i said both these guys are great GMs and great for the league.
