Your team is currently 8-8 and in a tie for the 6th seed in the East. Before the season it seemed like you were preparing to tank this year, is that still the case?
Yeah. We had a good amount of solid talent run through our team thus far and they have won us a lot more games then I thought they would’ve. Of course, I'd love to land Magic. Bird is cool to. After those 2 though, the draft is not bad at all. Plenty of solid to good looking guys.
What do you think about the team switching trend? Should there be any limitations put on the trend?
I like it. Hasn’t happened in a bit but I feel like it’s a good thing to promote league activity both for the GM’s switching and the league as a whole. Personally, I can’t wait till skillz GTFO and I can have the damn Knicks finally.
Is it too early to call Kurt Benson a bust? Why or why not?
Yeah. He’s still a very serviceable player and hasn’t been RC’d or AC’d yet. Plus, it’s his rookie season. I have no problem waiting and seeing what he does. Kinda sucks that he was the main piece I got for Elmore though. Hopefully he can improve and at worst, be a solid 6th or 7th man off the bench. The steals/blocks he gives me are definitely nice but he has to limit his turnovers.
Who is the most valuable player on your team (not to your team but rather as a trade piece)?
Wayne Cooper. He’s pretty much Elmore Smith with slightly better handling and slightly better FT shooting. Adding to that, he hasn’t been RC’d or AC’d yet. I feel like my roster overall has a lot of nice, young role playing guys but Cooper is definitely the best of the bunch.
You have a bunch of bigs 24 and under. Do you believe that having too many bigs at a positions stunts their improvement?
Hope not. I definitely like all of them to an extent. Cooper and Benson we’ve talked about. Washington, while not a great rebounder, can score and give me some blocks. Seals can also block shots and rebound. All these guys are 3 years in the league or lower so hopefully they still have growth in em. I’ve heard about the whole “having a lot of youth isn’t a good thing” stuff so I guess I’ll be testing that theory, especially next season when it's very likely my roster will be 15 deep with guys on rookie contracts.
Dumbest trade offer you received this year?
Well, I’ve gotten a couple of Cooper for picks offers. I really don’t mind those but one offer was Cooper for “1 first, maybe 2”. I really don’t like responding to guys in a disrespectful manner via PM. I’m used to getting bad offers but that one was just awful. Speaking of which, I’m hating the whole “you should trade Cooper for picks because he’ll help you win” logic. I guess that’s running into a whole different question though.
Dumbest gm in general?
Eh. I don’t think anyone’s dumb. I just think people sending dumb offers, fully well knowing what they’re doing. Yeah, I just gave you a PC answer. Sorry bro.
Bucks or Blazers?
Blazers. They have great talent everywhere and a solid bench as well. Not to say the Bucks don’t but I like the way the Blazers talents mesh and I feel like in a match up, the Blazers look better. The biggest difference between the Bucks and Blazers might actually be at the salary cap. The Blazers have around 15 Mil to play with under the HC. They are still buyers in a market where everyone is selling for this amazing draft. The Bucks don’t really have this luxury. Not sure if the Blazers will take advantage since they do have guys to resign but it’s a nice option to have either way.
Tell me what your thoughts about setting pace in BBS?
I love very fast. Dunno why, just do. I guess that's my overall favorite. I hate normal. I want to have a direction. Either we're slow or fast. Fuck that middle ground shit. It's for pussies.

Elmore is better now but it’s not by a huge amount and I think Cooper should catch him fairly soon. Cooper still has 3 AC’s and 3 RC’s which is a +24 to his ratings whenever I decide to actually do it. Cooper’s offense is slightly better right now. Turnovers, Cooper wins. I think Cooper should catch Elmore’s production by his 3rd season.
What would you do if you were Jay and Pig in order to make your cy?
Don’t go over the HC? It’s tough. I think Jay should’ve went after LJ when I had him but to be fair, I didn’t have him all that long. He has a big salary guy playing under 30 mpg and he has fairly inconsistent guys at the wing spots. Jay has his picks. It’s time to use them. The other thing Jay should be doing is articles. A lot of them. Hey, it worked for me. As far as Pig goes, it’s tough. He has a bunch of guys that don’t really fit well together but carry big salaries. Plus, his internet is fucking up. Oh and his picks are gone till god knows when. I think he’s going to have to try and ride it out and hope he survives. Unless, of course, someone gifts him some talent.
Stud pg or C?
I’ve always loved having a stud PG and a C that can big that can do the dirty work so I guess for me, PG.
3 most important attributes in a pg?
Handles, steals and 3pt shooting. I love PG’s that can rebound and can score inside but it isn’t the end all be all for me. Passing used to be up there but it’s gone down a lot being in this league. I still love a 10apg PG but I don’t find it as important as before.
Name 3 turnoffs in draft notes?
-High jumping is the biggest. I recall plenty of times drafting “high jumping” guys that can’t score for shit because that’s all they have.
-Decent handle. I swear decent handle usually means "this fucker cannot hold onto the ball".
- Not a numbers defender. Even though these guys aren't bad at all, they lack value.
The sixers look very good this year. Why did they have such a big problem making their cy last year?
They have a better GM? The 76ers made moves last season at the very last second to improve. They did improve but it was a case of to little, to late. Add to that, a GM that might be better at DC’s and well, there ya go. The last guy didn’t really use his time wisely. He made 2 moves at day 99 that he should’ve made at day 70 at the latest. I don’t know how active he actually was with trade talks but it didn’t seem that he cared much till the end.

Ok. Going to try and go away from the normal for a second here. Allan Bristow is one. It’s not even about his 24 ppg average. He’s also giving 8.3 rpg, 3 apg and less than 2 tpg. Those are very nice numbers for those ratings. Another is Henry Bibby. He’s damn good. I don’t recall the exact numbers but he gave me a nice 20/10/4 sim before.
How much time do you spend looking for gifs? Where are the best places to find them?
I’ve seen em around different forums. I honestly don’t spend any time actually looking for them. I just see them and keep them around to use. I’m eventually going to start making my own. I have a few ideas I want to try out but haven’t had the chance due to work/wife/child/lazyness.
Did you try to get anything for Walt or Larry or did you just want them off your team? Looking back would you have done it differently?
Ok so when I was PMed about Walt, I was hanging out with my friends. I didn’t even read the 2nd PM I was sent, telling me that he couldn’t give me the 1st he originally offered and that he had to give me another one. I didn’t care. I wanted him gone. Shortly after, I check my phone again and I see a PM from broph, offering me some guys and 2 picks for LJ. I had to load up the rosters to see what kind of fillers they were. When I saw they were expiring, I just said fuck it and post. This whole process took a bit since I was using my phone for downloading porn and looking at video cams but whatever. I just wanted them gone. The fact that I got 3 picks out of them both makes me happy. I wouldn’t have done it any differently if I could do it again. I got what I wanted and more out of them both. Don’t see why I would take it back.
What is your favorite part of the season?
Opening sim. It means a brand new season of depression, tanking and shit talking is among us.

Draft – 7. I usually draft fairly well, especially considering I’ve never had the first overall pick and only once had the 2nd overall pick. It’s been a tough time in the lotto for me.
FA – 5. Not great at all and it annoys me a lot. I have overpaid guys which lowers the rating for me. At the same time. I did sign Boone to a rather nice deal. Eh, 5 is fine.
DC – 6. Should be better. I’m to in love with running a very fast offense but when I actually sit and think about what I should be running, I do get it right.
Trading – 3. I don’t really rape people and usually try to work out fair deals. I don’t have the time or patience to try and work out rapes anymore. Sucks.
3 best teams you remember?
Can’t recall exact teams but I know Mark, Play and DBW have had some sick teams. Obviously repole’s last season team was disgusting. I think the season we beat the Wolves in the finals was the season after he lost some big time talent in FA. I’m fairly sure it happened around that time. Oh and how can I forget that Pistons team led by Based Derrick?
Blue or CC?
Blue. Blue was always a very good GM but he went through a period of not being active/not being here. He’s very good though, no doubt.
